Usual brown spotting has not arrived this month could this be the month of BFP??

Hi all,

Think I may be clutching at straws here as I don’t have any symptoms at all this month so I’m not very hopeful. But I usually have brown spotting 2 days before AF but am due on tomorrow and brown spotting has not arrived.

Has anyone had lack of symptoms that has turned into bfp or no brown spotting when you normally do?

I’m going to test tomorrow morning so will know either way but thought I’d waste some time away and ask for other women’s experiences too

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter oh i know right? My first BFP (chemical) was our first month TTC where I didn't do OPKs or anything - I was clueless. All I did was not drink coffee or alcohol that month... I had no fancy supplements (just the essential folic acid). Sometimes I think it could be something like on the BFP cycles the egg was released through the better tube/ovary and every other cycle it might be the other and that has a problem. It will always be a mystery 😆

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter I use cheap OPKs when I use them (I've had a break some months). Have always got obvious peaks with then at the expected time of the cycle so they seem to be fine. I tend to focus less on them though and more on just DTD at least every second day as soon as AF is gone. Like you say, it's best to get plenty in there in advance!

@2020mission I think that too that one side is better than the other 😂 no idea why I think that, honestly TTC drives you nuts!

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter I caved and did a test yesterday, BFN! Although it was in the afternoon, after only a half an hour hold on a test that’s to be used “from the day of expected period” which at the time wasn’t for another 4 days😂 so I’m not sure if I count it, still made me feel rubbish though and reminded me why I shouldn’t test early! X

😂 we’ve all been there @Firsttry132 I’ve always used the first response early response tests, I think you can test 6 days before your period. I honestly thought I was out this month as I had no symptoms at all. I think that made it easier for me to sit and wait for AF to show up (or not 😂❤️) keeping everything crossed for you!! xx

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter My spotting hasn’t come yet and according to the app last month it came “last night”, still won’t be happy till I see those 2 lines though!! I’ve got increased watery discharge (TMI) and I’ve never had that before did you get that or not? Clutching at straws here!! Xxx

I have felt quite wet down there 😂🙈 and keep knicker checking! Having no spotting was my only symptom so hopefully this is the same for you too! Keep me updated 😘 xx

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter Think I’m out! BFN this morning and pink discharge when I wiped which I think is AF on her way! (Annoyingly didn’t learn from last month and wasted another test🙄) oh well, big glass of red tonight for me ❤️ Good luck to you I wish you a very happy and healthy pregnancy, and hope we can catch up on some sort of pregnancy thread in the near future 😂 xx

@Firsttry132 you're not alone I've just got AF 😭 totally fed up I'm on cycle 14 now.
