Positive opk ? I'm due in 4 days

Urghh my cycle is so strange I thought I had ovulated a week so ago and now 4 days before my period I've got this anyone else got messed up cycles ?

I also have unpredictable cycles and would get positive OPKs at unexpected times! I feel your frustration!

Havign said that... OPKs can also detect hcg, so it's possible that it's detecting pregnancy if it's close to your predicted period. I can vouch for this, as I tested with an OPK just for fun when I found out I was pregnant and there was a clear line.

Thankyou for your reply I tested a day or two ago and was negative but maybe too early I'm a poas addict .. just got a feeling I haven't caught this month tho as usually got positives by now urghh so annoying Isent it x

With my first pregnancy I didn't get a positive result (even with frer) until my period was due. Second time around I tested positive at 9dpo (tested on the off chance at Christmas, not actually expecting anything as I knew it was "too early"). So you never know!

Do you usually have quite irregular cycles?

Yep every 28 days on the dot it's strange I've had a lot of miscarriages and under treatment but never had a positive this late my body is going strange x

Goodness, that sounds so tough, I'm sorry to hear that. Fingers crossed it might be hcg but if not I guess there's an LH surge coming up? Did you get a positive OPK when you thought you ovulated?

These are the ones from a week or so ago there was more but I thrown them was very faint then got these so thought I had ovulated .. and now the ones I took today I'm the pictures earlier so I'm even more confused x

If you're due your period I'd do a pregnancy test as opk can be positive then but heard you can also have an Lh surge before your period but I'd definitely do a test 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Hmm, it's a tricky one! Those OPKs show quite strong lines, but the test line would be ideally stronger than the control line to indicate a definite positive, however you might have just missed the surge.

I guess I'd err on the side of caution, carry on using the OPK's and treat it as though it's another LH surge indicating ovulation (have you ever had two surges before?), but also do a first response test if you have one. Both scenarios are possible, I guess time will tell...

Done another test and still ovulating apparantly I'm wondering if it's these tests as I'm bleeding and ovulating diddent think this was possible

Is it heavy or could it be implantation bleeding? It's worth doing a pregnancy test just to make sure. Not all lh surges mean ovulation I think you can get before period ovulation can be confirmed by a temp rise though if you're temping good luck!

Bleeding (as you are) and ovulating is unlikely, but if it stays light and eases off, I'd suspect implantation bleeding and try a pregnancy test. I had strong lines on OPKs when I found out I was pregnant.
