Hi,
I'm currently in the process of TTC and I've just got a coldsore. Today is my peak on my OPK's so to say I'm annoyed at the time is an understatement!
I usually take Aciclovir 200mg tablets 5 time a day at the onset of a cold sore, as my cold sores are pretty bad, but I now don't want to take it if it's going to lead to me potentially not conceiving this month. But equally, I don't want my body to be fighting the cold sore and decide this month is not it due to that?? I've called my GP but they aren't guaranteed to call me back as I'm on a triage list. A pharmacist was also unable to advise...
Has anyone had any experience of taking aciclovir either in early pregnancy or whilst TTC??
Any help would be appreciated
