Just worked out my dates to do SMEP this month...

I'm on CD2, cycle 2 TTC DC2. Last month was my first month off the pill so had no idea what my body would do, but very happy to have had a 28 day cycle.

Anyone else doing the SMEP this month?

Yes I'm going to try and like you, knackered looking at it 😂 but I'm rubbish at tracking ovulation so just going to try and do it everyday of my fertile window according to my app. Fingers crossed for us both.

@Finalbaby3 good luck! I don't actually know when I ovulate, and I don't want to start using OPKs yet so I appreciate SMEP might not work for me. But it seems a good way to cover all days

I agree, I have opks but I don't know whether I test at the wrong times of day or the tests are useless or what but it never shows anything! I know when I'm ovulating as I get cramps like af. It's day 8 for me tomorrow but going to start tonight. Also taking conceive plus fertility support and ovulation support 🤞🏼I've had 3 friends in the last month announce they're pregnant so I'm getting impatient lol I want to join them!!

We have done it but I’m knackered... 🙈😂 I ovulate any time between CD12 and CD19 but this month I didn’t get positive OPK until CD20! So we did EOD from CD9 then every day for 3! Not bothering with the extra one (tomorrow) because I haven’t bothered before and still got 2 BFPs, think I ovulate quite quickly after positive OPK.

When I conceived my son we tried every day of fertile week the month before with nothing, tried SMEP (without the extra day) and conceived second month. Had MMC last year and we’re only loosely trying - only did day before peak OPK and day of 🤷‍♀️

Do think SMEP is effective though x
