TTC after COVID vaccine

I’ve just heard that you’re not supposed to conceive within 2 months of jab..
Luckily I qualify in my area as a frontline social care worker.... but... when filling in the form it asks if you planning o on getting pregnant within 2 months...

Anyone had to think about this / know anything?
TIA

I'm a participant in a vaccine trial and was told not to get pregnant within three months. It's in the consent forms I signed if you'd like to see it. It's not Pfizer or Astra Zeneca though so might vary.

Thank you @GreenPlum
Are you ttc?

No!

The guidance has changed thought. You can start TTC straight after! I've had my first one and am now TTC

Though*

Yes guidance has changed I believe, there is now no mention of needing to delay conception. Just that if you have the first dose and get pregnant before the second dose talk to your doctor. As a rule they wouldn't give a vaccine / second dose if pregnant but of course someone's individual risk factors may mean that their doctor / midwife etc feels it's best if they have it.

Thank you @Arrierttyclock & @lostfrequencies

Guess I’ll take my chances 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had the vaccine this week and was worried too. But I saw that there was no need to delay TTC afterwards and so I got the Pfizer. The form asked if I was pregnant but nothing else.

If I get pregnant in the next 11 weeks (I can but dream!) I'll cross the 2nd dose bridge later.

It’s outdated guidance. Now no reason to delay ttc and actually you could choose to have it if you were pregnant. I’ve had mine and will still ttc

Thank you @ILookAtTheFloor & @IDontDrinkTea.
I’ll crack on I think
Good luck to all ttc 🙌🏻
