Anyone late but still waiting to test?

Hello!

Looking for a bit of company and chat with any ladies who might be in the same boat!

I’m now 4 days late but haven’t yet tested (they’re on their way with Mr Amazon as we speak). We actually stopped TTC in December, as I would rather avoid being pregnant for our wedding 🥂🥴 and we’re in no particular rush. Anyway. The past month we have been using pull out... I know it’s barely even classed as contraception, but it’s always worked for us and would be far from the end of the world if it failed. Now I’m a few days late and nothing but brown watery CM for the last two. I’m getting vague cramps like AF may be on her way, but then nothing appears.

Sorry for the long babble! Look forward to ‘meeting’ anyone in a similar position or hearing stories from those who have been in the past ☺️

No real advice from me but periods can be a few days late /early due to lots of reasons. The test is the only way to find out for sure!!!

Hi @Xxdxx2020! We certainly think he did. He is pretty on it with getting out earlier rather than later, but I suppose these things can happen. Oh three faint lines? That’s sounding pretty positive to me! Everything crossed AF stays away and the FRER is a BFP 🤞🏼

Thank you @Whichname98! You’re totally right. I’m normally very regular at 28 days - spot on every month - but after months of actually TTC and nothing, my head is telling me it’s waaay unlikely/just a fluke late month. We will see tomorrow if AF doesn’t show her ugly head before then!

Yep, I have a thread on here called 'evap lines every time!' And you can see the lines there. We shall see, but I'm pretty certain now that af is on her way. When are you planning to test? Good luck to you too xx

Hey! Similar boat in that AF is 3 days late today. Tested a few days ago in the afternoon and it was a negative though. No idea what's going on with me

I’ve just had a look @Xxdxx2020 - I can definitely see a line on the FRER and a couple of the others too. I really hope it gets darker for you! If no AF by bed time, I’ll probably test tomorrow 🙈

I hope this isn’t a downer, but in May I had a faint line on two FRER then BFN, so suspect it was a CP. While I would obviously have preferred a BFP, it did give me some reassurance that I can catch.

Just sore sensitive nipples but I’ve had that as a PMS symptom before! Turns out it was that again this time. Tests straight into the cupboard for me!

I Couldn't hold out any longer as I have a cold ( not Covid - why do we feel we always have to disclose this ) and I wanted to know if I could take lemsip.

I am in shock, I'm 41 and thought that It wouldn't happen, literally had a meltdown in December as it was really stressing me out and threw all the OPKs away and deleted all the apps and just thought we will just see what happens, I know roughly when I ovulate and my periods are clockwork so just relaxed and bloody hell.....

Sorry about AF @Xxdxx2020. With those faint positives, it does sound a bit like a CP. Best of luck for your TTC journey. It sure is a rollercoaster!!

Took a cheapie test yesterday evening with pretty dilute urine and BFN. Will do another this morning (I’m 8 hours behind UK!) and if BFN, put this down to a very weird month

I'm maybe two days late, although my cycle can vary by a couple of days. I'm trying to wait as I've had so many BFNs by testing too early and it feels rubbish. I thought my period had started yesterday eve, with some v pale pink when wiping. Then a tiny bit more today, nothing else. I'm daring to hope now that it may have been implantation. But we've been trying for two years and I had a chemical last autumn, so I'm scared to hope.

I tested this morning just in case and it was a BFN - though I expected it! Hopefully a one off weird month 🤞🏼

I want to try and wait a week to give AF a chance to arrive, but I'm not convinced I'll hold out.

I'm 41 ttc number 2 for 6 months after a MMC and I told my husband I wanted to have fertility check on Monday.
Did this on Wednesday, testing again tomorrow

@anothermonthbitesthedust oooo i can definitely see a faint line there, fingers crossed for you!!

It's harder as you get older isn't it as you know every month makes it more difficult.

I had the 21 day bloods etc to check and partner had his swimmers checked. It's not a bad place to start (hopefully you won't need to) but gives peace of mind x
