I’ve gotten my period every 2 weeks since having my first child and now that I’m TTC I’m finding it difficult to know when I’m ovulating. My period is 2 days late as I’m currently on cycle day 16 and I’ve been feeling very nauseous today and have had heart burn a few times this week (which I never get, only when I was pregnant last time). I’m scared to test incase I’m still too early but I have no idea when I’d get a BFP if my cycles are so short. Has anyone else got irregular cycles or extremely short? I’m scared I test too early 🤮

Also today I felt very hot and dizzy doing my shopping which was a big thing in my last pregnancy.

Do you mean you have 14 days between periods? Or 14 days from period day 1 to period day 1? How long are your periods? Thats extremely short!

14 days from day 1 to day 1. Ive been to the doctors over and over again and they say it’s normal (I don’t think it is).

How long does your bleeding last? Its very unusual. I honestly would be incredibly surprised if you are ovulating :(

Usually about 4 days. I’ve taken OPKs before and have occasionally gotten a positive but on a different cycle day every time. My doctors told me to have intercourse while bleeding aswell incase I ovulate while I’m still bleeding but I’m not really sure how that would work 🧐

If you are ovulating, you would have an incredibly short luteal phase, like a day or 2 at most. I think it would be almost impossible for you to have an egg implant in that time. Im really sorry OP, but I think you need to go back to the GP (or ask to see a specialist) to get more advice x
