Don’t mind me! Just following along for the same reason.

Chica1990 · 23/01/2021 01:53

This is the photo in my album from the last time I ovulated. I used clear blue digital as well as I found sometimes I could miss my peak on these.

Hope this helps and good luck

Have you tried Googling this question?

Amz6219 · 23/01/2021 08:05

Have you tried Premom app? You take pictures and it quantifies for you, I’ve only started using this month and not got peak yet so no point me uploading a picture but thought I’d recommend the app because I find it useful x

Moominmiss · 23/01/2021 08:13

@TTCPLEASE this was my positive this cycle. My tests usually get as dark as the control line, then the next day they go like this where the test line becomes darker than the control line. This is what I class as my peak. I usually then ovulate the day after I get this result (I temp as well so can confirm ovulation occurs).

Here's an older log of my OPKs, you can see the progression from low - high - peak. I recommend getting the Femometer app to read them, it's free!

Sorry to crash...! But @Moominmiss and @mrsgtobe97 can I ask what time of day you got these peaks? X

mrsgtobe97 · 23/01/2021 08:50

@Amz6219 I test at 1pm, hold my pee from 11am - 1pm and don't drink anything. I do that everyday and log in the Premom app, have tracked 2 cycles so far doing this and caught my peak both times ☺️ I have a very quick peak so I was nervous I'd miss it but so far so good 🤞🏼

TTCPLEASE · 23/01/2021 09:59

Thank you everyone thats great.
And @highfalutinlootin NO I haven't thought about googling because funnily enough Google isn't a person it doesn't explain when the pic was taken, peaks, advice, support. So take your sarcy comment and piss off

Great pics @Moominmiss so am I correct in thinking 2 lines ovulating, but if its really dark its my peak? Or does it always have to be as dark as the control line? Xx

Definitely recommend the Premom app, does it all for you (sometimes is a bit temperamental about light levels and backgrounds but you soon get used to its quirks). The more you put into the app the more it tells you 🙂

SendMeHome · 23/01/2021 10:59

I use Premom too, it’ll show you your highs and peaks.

Two lines isn’t always ovulating, some people get faint lines through their whole cycle. I get faint lines from CD6 until CD19ish. Darker lines are high, and your peak is when the test line is darker than the control line - but Premom makes it easier! Make sure the test has fully processed before you take the photo, it’s not valid until all the pink in the background has gone.

I’m on cycle three off the pill now; and every cycle has had a better peak so far.

Chica1990 · 23/01/2021 11:02

@TTCPLEASE the test line (the line towards the end of the test that says ‘max’) needs to be as dark or darker than the control line to be positive.

The clear blue digitals are more expensive but you could use them around when your test line gets darker. They give a static smiley face when you are at your peak.

How long have you been trying for?

TTCPLEASE · 23/01/2021 12:31

@Chica1990 only on 2nd cycle but I've been on pill for 9 years im almost 30 and have no idea when i ovulate etc my oldest is nearly 10 so its been a long while i didnt do none of this with my DD and as I'm older now I was thinking my best chance is to track thank you for advice I had no idea test line had to be darker than control lol xx

TTCPLEASE · 23/01/2021 12:33

@Chica1990 sorry I said my oldest as if I've got more than one kid haha wishful thinking already haha my one and only DD is nearly 10 xx

Chica1990 · 23/01/2021 15:36

Ah I see originally I thought you knew about the test line and hadn’t seen a positive yet to compare yours to but saw one of your questions to someone and thought I’d clarify to spare you time thinking you were getting loads of positive opks!

Good luck getting a sibling for your DD!

TTCPLEASE · 23/01/2021 16:18
