Negative FRER 10dpo / 5 days before AF due

Hi,
Has anyone had a negative FRER 10 dpo / 5 days before expected AF and still ended up getting a BFP later on? I'm having a lot of symptoms that feel different to usual PMS. Is it not going to happen or is there still a chance I could be pregnant?
I will wait for AF to arrive before I write it off completely, just curious to know if anyone else has had this happen before and still got their bfp! Thanks!!

Yes, I didn’t get even a hint of a positive until 12dpo. Now 28 weeks pregnant.

I got positives on cheapies at 10dpo, tested on the day of of AF being due with FRER and the line was barely there. Showed up as a really strong line when I tested again later

OP, I’m also 10DPO, AF due in 4/5 days and I too tested with an FRER this morning and a v definite BFN.

However, I also tested with a cheapie about 7pm last night and again this morning and there is what seems like a shadow/ very light line on those. I dipped one in water and the shadow / line wasn’t there so I don’t know? Everyone always says that FRER are the most sensitive but when I google easy@home tests (the cheapies I used) they say they’re more sensitive than FRER’s??

So maybe test with a cheapie too if you have some? Also; there’s a website that’s been doing the rounds on here the last couple of days .... www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/pregnancy-tests-urine-sample.php that seems to indicate the majority actually have more luck when testing late afternoon/ evening rather than FMU. In fact, looking at that chart, on every DPO, that’s the case so why everyone says test with FMU I don’t know 🤷‍♀️

Thanks very much for your responses! It's reassuring to know that there is still a chance of a BFP. I have a couple of cheapies knocking about but I think I'll wait until tomorrow to test again.

I took the FRER with my second wee of the day as they hadn't arrived first thing, but that is really interesting and helpful to know so thank you for pointing it out to me.

I (stupidly) seem to have convinced myself I am pregnant because of the symptoms I've been having and just a general gut feeling - so fingers crossed and good luck to everyone in the same position!
