Starting new 2week wait today

Hey all! Wondered if anyone wants to survive the 2ww with me! The other boards move so fast I haven't been on for a week or so and can't catch up!
I am TTc second baby. DD just turned 9!!! 3rd month trying properly and used OPk for the first time this month. Last cycle was only 23 days but got a smiley face yesterday on cycle day 13 and DTD CR 8, 10, 12, 13 and hopefully tonight too! Fingers crossed 🤞

@Lizzie1302 try not to get too discouraged until AF. I just watched some YouTube videos about line progression and many of the ladies showed how they didn't get their BFP until 12 or 13 dpo!

It's my first and it was through IUI. My boyfriend had a vasectomy a long time before we met. We decided to do iui with a donor. And this was my first cycle!

@RHODXB I agree with you! I find a negative test is actually more heartbreaking than AF!

Welcome all the newcomers! And what is everyone doing to pass the time during this TWW? We've moved house, so currently I'm spending lots of money decorating and trying to plan for a wedding that may not take place!

My partner doesn't believe in testing before af he didn't understand how hard it is 😂so ive made him hide my tests until tomorrow as I believe that is when I'm due on
And @ssh27 that's so exciting! I work 13 hour days so that's the only way I'm able to stop my self going insane with poas and symptom spotting haha

@SSH27 I'm also spending all the money decorating the house and we moved in here a year ago! We have a stay at home order where I live right now, so online shopping for anything and everything has been my past time!

My sister has just given birth to a gorgeous little girly - she's adorable! makes me even more broody! Hope we all get to experience this soon enough xx

How's everyone doing?? I'm 4 dpo and I can see from my app we dtd twice in the fertile week. And for you ladies who like symptom spotting, I've had sore boobs but around the middle not the sides and I remember that being a pregnancy symptom. I actually had that with my daughter. I've also had weird tingly hot flushes during the night... No idea if that's a thing. But now I'm also freakin out a bit as I was on the fence and feel I've gone into ttc irrationally to feel a bit more in control of my life c during this pandemic. I love our easy lives with my daughter, she's so great, she sleeps like a dream and I didn't have siblings so am a bit scared about that reality. I like coming on here as it keeps me excited about it.

I'm officially 1dpo and already over this tww 😅 absolutely determined to wait until about 12/13DPO before testing, I don't think my nerves could take any "is it a line is it an indent", but I know I'll crack come 5dpo I'll be testing 🙃

@SSH27 we are renovating too. Been here just over 2years and all the main building work is done but still bedrooms and hallway to decorate. Been so many hold ups with lockdown

@AbiBrown I did the same. Thought I would be chilled but actually I'm really not but it's the only thing I can 'Control' to a certain extent well hopefully anyway lol

Happy Saturday everyone! I'm 5 dpo now (or 4 depending on which app I believe)! I can honestly say I've never felt less pregnant in my life 😂 no cm, no cramps, no sore boobs... tempted to have a gin 😂😂

@fifi1086 that's not a bad thing! Sometimes people say it's the month where the felt nothing that they got their BFP! Fingers crossed
Well my Af is due today (for the past 4 months I've had a 27 day cycle). Tested this morning BFN so just waiting on it to start

@bcrvmama Yeah my wedding was supposed to happen in January but then was moved to April and to be honest not holding out much hope. But neither are planning to leave so it is what it is.

But the decorating is coming along nicely! Who would have thought that I had such expensive taste!

@Fireplacedreamer That is a big project! When are you thinking it will be complete? Yeah the big C has made everything extra slow.

@glow92 I have to remind myself not to test because I'm so early on but it feels like an absolute age. Why is the TWW so slow?

DPO today and feeling super impatient!!!

Hey everyone! So I'm either 5 or 6dpo today and I just had some spotting, more like pinky tinged cm but with specks in it. Is this too early for implantation? I so hope it's that and not AF making an early appearance, although I was sooo grumpy yday so could be her the witch 😭

I don't want to get into a habit early testing but I'm curious to know - how many DPO would you and with what brand of test?

@ssh27 probably about another year to finish inside. Then worry about outside after that.

@glow92 I'm interested in this too. I say every month I will not test before AF is due and I give in at 12dpo/13dpo everytime. I always get sainsburys cheap ones and they are always negative 😔

@Fireplacedreamer I do have a few test but they're no-cheapies so I don't want to waste them to be disappointed!

Just jumping in on your renovations chat, finally finished after nearly 3 years (could have a year but we got lazy), never thought I'd say but I wish I had more jobs to do!! Would make lockdown and TWW much quicker!

@glow92 it does become very expensive! Gotta try not to use them unless late but easier said than done.

Ha! Ours will hit 3 years for inside with a combo of delays due to lockdown and lack of money 😂

You are right though, at least I have 2 things to obsess to spread it out. Ha!

I think the earliest I would do it would be maybe 10 or 11dpo and with a first response early results or a 10miu cheapy strip!

2dpo today and sooo tired 😅 had to have a sleep this afternoon which I never do. last cycle when I definitely wasn't pregnant (didn't DTD when ovulating) I got sore boobs and heartburn but this cycle I don't have anything at all. So weird how it changes between cycles 🙈
