I know, I should have waited. I was working from home today so seemed like a good time but after feeling sorry for myself for a bit I'm ok. I'll test again Sunday and see. That's promising though if that happened to you with a negative at day 10dpui.how are you feeling with everything? x

Ttc2017 · 18/02/2021 19:17

Sometimes it takes few days for hcg level to build up also depends on sensitivity of the test you use which test did you use? I've ordered first response early result but even on that on my daughter my line was so so faint at 12dpiui. How you feeling now I don't know how I am I go from thinking there's no reason for it not to of worked to thinkingthere's no reason for it to of worked and the success rates are so low. I don't really have any major symptoms either but again I know realistically it's too early for anything proper and progesterone is changing everything to. I'm really nervous for sat to test but also feel like I need it done and out the way. Got a headache today and sure it's from stress knowing the result is coming up lol x

It's crazy isn't it, I thought I'd just be chilled about the whole thing but it's the not knowing. I went in to it knowing the chances were low so felt prepared almost cure it wouldn't work but started to let myself believe it had. This progesterone is awful, I'm permanently exhausted, bloated stomach cramps and now have really sensitive boobs too. All would be exciting signs but all side effects of it so feel like that's giving me false hope.
Fingers crossed for Saturday for you, I think it's nicer doing it at the weekend when you have time and don't have to worry about work. I used the early indicator clear blue but as you say may still be a chance. Such a roller coaster of emotions isn't it, just be kind to yourself. Is it this Monday coming you start your new job? x

Ttc2017 · 18/02/2021 20:06

Yeah it's definitely a rollercoaster and so stressful especially with all the drugs it is exhausting and draining. The clearblue ones are not very sensitive at all think even the early ones are 25 or 20 what ever measurement they test in. First response are 6.5 so pick up hcg at a much lower level so much sooner. I only found all that outfrom here goingthrough it all with DD. Tuesday i start new job so hoping if it's negative I can get all my bad vibes out before then:( x

When are you going to test again?

OP posts:
AJ2021 · 19/02/2021 14:15

Oh really, I didn't know about that, so new to all of this I just saw their 6day before a figured it must be good. I'm going to hold off now until Sunday, I read that first pee of the day is best? I think having had a negative I want to leave it as long as possible but Monday test sint great with work. Good luck tomorrow, I have everything crossed for you, hopefully it will be a great result then you'll go into your new job really positive too x

Ttc2017 · 19/02/2021 15:56

Thank you wishing you lots of luck for Sunday! I'm so nervous and worried af will come before I even get chance to test and worried to test now as negative will hurt so bad. It's horrible this waiting game isn't it it feels like everything takes so long and more time passes the more desperately you want it x

Ttc2017 · 20/02/2021 14:41

Hi I tested at 2am and got a faint bfp I still can't quite believe it. I had it very faint with dd and beta was very low so I'm still a bit nervous to check my hcg levels rise so will check again on Monday to see if line is any darker. I hope you get your bfp tomorrow x

OP posts:
AJ2021 · 20/02/2021 15:29

Omg congratulations that's exciting. I was so tempted to do it today but holding off. A faint line is exciting hopefully it will only get stronger come Monday! I'm so nervous about mine, I just want to do it now but I suppose mid day sample won't be as good will it. x

Ttc2017 · 20/02/2021 16:01

No try to wait for fmu I only ever use that as I think it more concentrated and accurate. Got everything crossed for you in the morning x

AJ2021 · 21/02/2021 14:10

So bfn this morning 😔 I'll do another one tomorrow morning to tick that box and email my clinic the result but gutted. Still not had AF so I think that convinced me it would be positive, I'm guessing it's all the injections etc messing with my normal cycle. x

Ttc2017 · 21/02/2021 15:22

Ah no I'm so sorry :( maybe tomorrow you will get bfp were you using a first response test? X

OP posts:
AJ2021 · 21/02/2021 15:31

Yes maybe, we'll see. No I used the one the clinic gave me but I've been out and bout first response now so will use that tomorrow. It's mad I went into this almost assuming it wouldn't work and was at piece with it and almost felt like I was going through the motions for round1 but I think during this wait, it made me realise how much I wanted it and feel sad today. But hey, tomorrow may be different who knows and even if bfn again they ask you yyo test 3days later still so maybe?
How are you feeling today? Are you excited to test tomorrow again? x

Ttc2017 · 21/02/2021 22:56

Got my fingers crossed for you for tomorrow with the first response! I'm really nervous about 're testing I don't think I'll sleep tonight I'll be on edge incase my levels haven't risen. It's a huge emotional investment isn't it and I think the meds make it even harder on our emotions aswell . The fact af hasn't shown for your is defo a positive. Does your clinic do a beta blood test ? Mine doesn't but I know alot do x

OP posts:
AJ2021 · 22/02/2021 15:18

How did you get on today, did you get a darker line? Mine was negative again so looks like I'm going for a second round but still no AF so small chance of a positive on Thursday I suppose. Weirdly I feel better about it today, I think the not knowing is harder in a way x

Ttc2017 · 22/02/2021 23:31

Aw I'm gutted for you but you are not out the game until af shows up. Have you spoken to your clinic will you go straight into trying again next cycle if this one is unsuccessful I'm so sorry you got negative today I'm crossing my fingers for you for Thursday that it's just a late positive. I think my line was a little bit darker today x

OP posts:
AJ2021 · 25/02/2021 15:24

Hi, so another negative today, I was expecting that to be honest. The consultant is going to call me in the next week to discuss where to go next, should be do the same next time or change drugs etc. Still no AF but apparently that's quite normal for people on Cyclogest so could be another 3-5days away. Looks like I'll do round 2 in April as they can't turn it around quick enough for my next cycle, I'm quite relieved tho, give me a chance to feel normal again before round2.
How are you? What's the next steps, do you have to go for a blood test? x

Ttc2017 · 25/02/2021 20:46

Hi been thinking about you hoping you are ok I'm so gutted for you im glad your clinic is going to discuss it all with you how are you feeling about going for another cycle would you like to change anything or stay the same did they check follicle size before they did the iui. My clinic don't do blood test so I just have to wait until 6 week scan to see if everything is ok and if the pregnancy is in the right place and viable etc. Hope af comes soon for you to get back on track x
