Hi all

I'm currently 10dpo. I've been having really bad palpitations on and off all day for the last 5 days or so. I wondered if anyone had these during their 2ww/pregnancy or if it could be something I need to worry about? I'm just assuming here that I am pregnant lol I might not even be up the duff but I've never had anything like this before. The palpitations are driving me crazy! I've also been extremely irritable and emotional since 6dpo which just isn't like me at all. I guess time will tell... and if the palpitations get worse I'll have to call a doc cos it feels like my heart is exploding in my throat!!

They were definitely a symptom for me! I do also have hypothyroidism which they can be a symptom of though so I think it would be worth getting it investigated either way just to be sure! For me I don't get many palpitations anymore because of the thyroid meds I'm on so when they came back with a vengeance it did make me wonder and low and behold I got my BFP and am now almost 10 weeks

@Jurassiclover firstly thanks for your reply and congrats on your pregnancy :) I hope everything is going smoothly for you. Weirdly, I had my thyroid checked last year so I know it isn't that but I will speak to a doctor if they get worse. I sometimes get palpitations during ovulation but for a really short spell on the day I ovulate and that's it. Asp I suspect it's down to hormones. The only other thing I could think of is that I have polycystic ovaries and my body is extremely sensitive to sugar so maybe my hormones are a little out of wack because of all the christmassy treats and booze. I'm usually on a very strict no booze and no sugar diet since starting ttc a year ago so that could be causing the palpitations maybe?. I done a test today at 11dpo and bfn so I suspect af is on her way to come and visit Thursday. .. only time will tell.
