Hi everyone,

Me and DP have been trying for our 1st and just now I got a very faint positive!
I was just wondering if anyone else had had a very faint line and was definately pregnant? I don't want to get my hopes up but I've never seen even a hint of a line any other month. . .im going to take another test but don't know weather to wait a few days? The suspense is killing me!

Any advice appreciated :)

Congrats to those ladies with positives! 💖💖

@TJ17 just read an earlier comment about you used to change the lighting contrast on photos of your tests - I have to admit I’ve been doing the same 😂🙊 (yup I’m crazy..) did your tests that you were editing end up positive? Reason I ask.. I’m testing early (just couldn’t help myself.. 😣) and was sure I could see ‘something’ on the test so took a photo and started messing with it and seems a pretty obvious but VERY faint line.. so I’m just wondering if yours continued to progress or if they ended up just being shadows or something.. xx

TJ17 · 07/01/2021 07:08

@Farfaraway1 it's ok it sends us all crazy Grin

Yeah the one I talked about editing was already a faint positive. However I never got a positive before my missed period with either of my babies! With DC1 AF was 2/3 days late before I got a BFP and with DC2 I didn't get a positive until AF was 6 days late!!

Hang on in there, it's an exciting time but it's also very stressful! I'm glad I don't want to do it all again haha good luck Thanks

Farfaraway1 · 07/01/2021 07:19

Thanks @TJ17 that’s very reassuring! Just goes to show that it’s not all over until AF actually arrived! I don’t know why I do it to myself - testing early.. I’ll probably keep testing each morning to see where things are at and see if anything more substantial appears!! 🤷🏻‍♀️🤨

TJ17 · 07/01/2021 07:30

@Farfaraway1 I dread to think about the money I must have spent on tests 😅
I found the cheap supermarket own brands the best ones though.

It's deffo never over til AF arrives! I could give you all the advice like don't test early, only test once then wait a few days, don't over analyse every symptom, put it out of your head, don't stress and it will happen etc etc etc but I'd only be a hypocrite and I know full well it's all impossible!

Hope you get your BPF soon ❤️

TJ17 · 07/01/2021 07:31

Or BFP even 😅😂

Farfaraway1 · 07/01/2021 07:54

@TJ17 oh me too - I’ve found a local shop that sells a 7 pack of FRER’s for a great price - I’ve bought so many packs of them I’m sure the shop ladies must recognise me now and feel sorry for me..! 😂😂🤦🏻‍♀️ Thanks lovely 😘 here’s hoping 🤞 xx

Congrats @Mugcake (and the others!)

I do love a positive digital Grin

Try not to worry to much about the cramps. Pregnancy and period symptoms don’t have many differences! It’s all the same hormones. I had cramps on and off all the way through 1st tri x

Ironytheoppositeofwrinkly · 08/01/2021 08:04

Finally had the confidence to do a digital 😍 does anybody want to start a due in September thread in the pregnancy board? Or is there one already?

Mugcake · 08/01/2021 12:03

@Ironytheoppositeofwrinkly I'd definately like that! It would be nice to keep in touch with people going through it as well :)
