What is going on with these OPK's

Last month cycle was 39 days don't know when I ovulated as surge wasn't picked up but had EWCM, attempting charting temps this month but they were all over the place like a rollercoaster on graph so I sacked that off and just been using OPK's from day 11, now on day 15. The last 4 consist of 2 from today and 2 from yesterday (the bigger ones are boots own brand). First one today picked but barely no line at all, thought that was weird so I managed to wee a bit more using the boots OPK and line is quite strong. What is going on! How can the one stop pick up nothing but the boots the line is clearly there done at pretty much the same time. I know it's still negative but possibly slightly darker than yesterday's. I don't think I'm close to ovulating as I haven't had any EWCM yet. Any advice? Feel like I'm losing my mind it's all I can think about.

It's difficult to say as you really need to use the same brand of test to be able to compare them - they are like pregnancy tests in that some are more sensitive than others

Just based on the thicker test strips id say you were getting close - maybe another 24 hours - I'd test several times a day though as some LH surges can be quick and easy if you only test once or even twice a day you can miss getting a really dark OPK test

Also not everyone gets EWCM - often depends how hydrated you are. Mine tended to dry up and stop 1-2 days before my LH surge so you may not see a positive OPK and have EWCM at the same time

Are they both from the same urine? Perhaps just not concentrated enough for the onestep?

FWIW, my LH level was barely ever strong enough to show as positive on the onesteps even when it was blazing positive on others. Have you tried easy@home tests and the premom app? You can upload pictures of your tests and it calculates how positive they are for you. Found them much better and takes the guess work out of it all!

Not really from the same urine, the second test was like 10 mins after though. Are these boots tests quite reliable? If they are I will stick with them even though they're more expensive, I haven't heard or the easy@home tests but I may order some online for next month
