Can anyone else see a line on this test? I don't know if I'm just imagining it!

I'm pretty sure I can see something, @Gigi1109.

Gigi1109 · 31/12/2020 22:11

Glad it’s not just me. I came off of my pill on 16th December, so no period and haven’t a clue about ovulation! It took 17 months to conceive with my first and if this is positive it will have been very quick and I’ll be super early. That is why I’m doubting it slightly x

Gigi1109 · 31/12/2020 22:11

At least I’m not going mad.. when should I test next do you think? X

NoWordForFluffy · 31/12/2020 22:12

2-3 days or at least twice daily from now on if you're like me!

Gigi1109 · 31/12/2020 22:43

Literally know for a fact I’ll test again tomorrow I’m terrible!! 🙈

Clove76 · 01/01/2021 10:25

@Bexy1393 fingers crossed for you that you get a BFP on the CB digital soon!

@Gigi1109 It’s entirely possible that you’ve ovulated straight away after coming off the pill. I was surprised when I came off the pill how my cycles started up again immediately. As the above poster said, probably give it a couple of days but I could understand if you tested everyday- That’s what I’m doing!! Fingers crossed for you that you get a confirmed BFP soon xx

Bexy1393 · 02/01/2021 19:42

That looks like a very faint line to me @Gigi1109 ! Have you done anymore tests?

I did another FRER today which looks negative, but a Clear Blue seems to have a very faint line, so confused! (Pics below)

I have no idea when my period is due because I haven't had one since my little girl was born in august as I'm breastfeeding x

It does doesn’t it! So I took another yesterday and I swore I could see another faint line but the OH said otherwise! I’ve got some coming tomorrow so I’ll do another then as I’m feeling sick and super bloated! It’s just so hard when early pregnancy symptoms are so similar to period symptoms!

Oh yes I can see the line on the clear blue! And the other tests you did too I could see the line, so confusing! I’d just keep testing hun it’s super hard when you’ve not had a period too isn’t it. X

NoWordForFluffy · 03/01/2021 08:28

Are you sure that's a FRER and not a FRRR, @Bexy1393? It's such a pain when tests can't just be conclusive and have the decency to match each other!

SophW194 · 03/01/2021 08:42

@Bexy1393 did you use fmu for these tests ? I’m finding atm that my tests come out stronger in the afternoon after I’ve held my wee for 4/5 hours. These are mine- the one with writing was yesterday afternoon, the one without is this morning xx

Bexy1393 · 03/01/2021 08:57

@Gigi1109 fingers crossed for today for you! 😁 I'm the same with the symptoms, I have been getting headaches, feeling sick and also super bloated. I have also been getting cramps in my lower back for a few weeks now but no period! I feel pretty much like a did when I was pregnant with my little girl but the tests say otherwise. Confused! X

Gigi1109 · 03/01/2021 17:50

@Bexy1393 did you end up doing another today? I’ve just done one and negative! I hate how it messes with you like that and maybe the really faint line was just my imagination or the dye or something! It’s just strange as I normally come on my period instantly after being on the pill and it’s almost 3 weeks now! Xx

Bexy1393 · 03/01/2021 19:08

@NoWordForFluffy yes was definitely a FRER I just checked! It's so weird that I am getting the really faint lines on a few different brands but now no line on FRER Confusedx

@SophW194 yeah it was FMU! They are some good positives you have there! Congratulations ThanksGrin how many DPO are you? X

SophW194 · 03/01/2021 19:21

@Bexy1393 ahh ok ! Maybe try an afternoon hold one and see if it’s any different ? I’ve heard a couple of people say the same as what I’ve found that in early pregnancy the tests sometimes come out stronger in the afternoon after a 4-5 hour hold of your wee so maybe try that ?

I’m 10dpo today but I’m super super anxious as I had a mc last month so very paranoid it’ll happen again and also in shock that I’ve caught again so soon ! Trying not to work myself up too much cos that won’t help either but so hard not to !

Good luck with your next test !! Xx

Bexy1393 · 03/01/2021 19:45

@Gigi1109 sorry to hear that :( it's so hard when you don't know when you are due on either! Fingers crossed that you get your BFP soon!

I tested again this afternoon and another faint line! This time on Sainsbury's own brand test! But surely if i was pregnant they would be getting darker by now?! Xxx

The bottom one is this mornings test... there's a line right? The top one is dry from last night so looks a bit darker x

@Bexy1393 sorry I’m a bit late hun! I get your confusion as you’d deffo expect a darker line as the days go by! I stupidly did another today 😂 and obvs bfn!! No more now for me haha I’m just going to wait for the good old AF!

Yes I can absolutely see a line on both!! 😍 xx

namechange202086 · 04/01/2021 13:03

I can see a line on the top but but the bottom. Sainsbury's tests have had bad reviews in the past if you Google it. They sometimes show a very faint line line even when not positive.

Fingers crossed you are pregnant and it's just too early.

SophW194 · 04/01/2021 13:21

@Bexy1393 have you checked on the Sainsbury’s test what the sensitivity level of the test is ? The frer are the most sensitive at 6.5, then a few of the early ones are 10 and then a few are 25. So if using different tests it might be worth just checking how sensitive each are. Also, your levels can be slow to pick up at first, I read something the other day that they rise to 25 and then after that they double every 48 hours or so. So you won’t always see a darker line from one day to the following. Hope this helps xx
