FRER faint positive or evaporation? 11DPO

Hi ladies,

Wondering if I can borrow your eyes. I am 11dpo, took a FRER this morning and got what I think is a faint positive. DP can't see it. I'm also worried it could be an evaporation line after doing some research.

What do you think?

I’m really sorry, I can’t see a line

sunlight81 · 28/12/2020 21:35

The first pic has a slight grey line to it which could be the start of something positive. Check against lion 48hrs

faintposorevap · 28/12/2020 21:44

Thank you, I've got another FRER which I will take in the morning and update on!

I can see a line on the first two. Did they appear within the time frame?

Fingers crossed for you!

faintposorevap · 28/12/2020 21:59

Yes it appeared within the time frame. It's very faint, a real squinter!

Oh that’s good news! I don’t see any colour but can definitely see a faint line. 🤞

Mcde · 28/12/2020 22:13

I’ve had the same today! I did 2 clear blue tests- first was a faint positive which has actually got darker the longer I’ve left it. then did another straight away and it’s negative... Confused Worried the first was evaporation...

PegLegTrev · 28/12/2020 22:19

I can’t see a line but IMO evap lines are a myth. If there’s a line you’re pregnant.

Mcde · 28/12/2020 22:24

@faintposorevap got everything crossed for you

Sexnotgender · 28/12/2020 22:25

Can see a faint line. Fingers crossed for you.

faintposorevap · 28/12/2020 22:39

I took the test apart to get a closer look (I know it's hours old)! And the line is tinged pink, albeit still very faint... Have to see tomorrow morning!

@faintposorevap deffo see a line in the second!

timeforanother1 · 28/12/2020 22:59

Good luck!

I see a line on them all.

faintposorevap · 29/12/2020 09:46

Morning ladies,

I took a test this morning and the second line is definitely visible to the naked eye...It looks like it's got a pinkish tinge but I'm not entirely sure. I may have got a bad batch of FRER with horrible indent lines or be experiencing bad evaps.

I am 12dpo, 4 days before AF is due.

That’s definitely a line! Mine looked like that at 12/13dpo and I’m now 25 weeks pregnant.

faintposorevap · 29/12/2020 09:47

I'm not crazy am I?!

No crazier than the rest of us😂

WalkingMeAway · 29/12/2020 09:57

I can see the faintest of lines now!

Mcde · 29/12/2020 10:05

I definitely see it!

faintposorevap · 29/12/2020 10:41

It's for sure visible to the naked eye and slightly pink Shock

I took a CB digital after and got a BFN so I am not convinced... It could be too early, I'm not sure when these are able to be taken. I am going to buy more early tests today and keep testing... I'm not convinced this isn't an evil indent or evap...

When are you due AF @faintposorevap? I definitely see lines!

WalkingMeAway · 29/12/2020 10:53

I don’t think digitals are as sensitive?

faintposorevap · 29/12/2020 10:54

@SweetShopSurprise

I've only just started tracking my AF, but my average cycle length is 32 days... Today is CD29.

faintposorevap · 29/12/2020 10:55

I got a positive LH test for ovulation on the morning of CD16.

I reckon you'll see a darker line on a FRER tomorrow, they are very sensitive and say that you can get a result up to 6 days before your period is due, but that will depend on the implantation timeline (i.e. when hcg starts being produced).

Clear Blue are less sensitive than First Response, you probably won't get a positive until (or even after) your period is due.
