DTD once a day, or once every other day?

Hiya, trying to conceive baby #2. I've heard of conflicting evidence about DTD once each day during the fertile window or once every other day. Does it matter? Trouble is I don't exactly know when I ovulate. I took OPKs last month and it turned up positive 3 days in a row? Assuming I would ovulate 12-48 hours after the first OPK but that's still quite a variation. I'm so confused.

Not sure if DH's sperm count would suffer if we're DTD every single day. Blush any (anecdotal) evidence? Many thanks

I DTD 11 times in one week and conceived my first child on the first month of trying. Just figured the more we did it the more likely i was to get pregnant.

I cannot fathom having sex 11 times in a month let alone a week nowadays!

Usually every other day, I heard from a doctor that that gives the sperm time to build up before the next ejaculation! But that said if you do it every day you probably don't need a full load 😆
I don't think I have the energy for every day!

Every other day when fertile window and every day when positive/peak

Do it as little or often as you want. It doesn't affect sperm quality or genesis at all from what I've read in research papers. If anything the more regularly you have sex the more 'healthy' the sperm are that are released. There isn't much in it though if we're talking the difference between every day or every other day.

The only time where I would think it would make a difference is if your partner had a low sperm count. In that case you might want to 'save them up' so to speak and try to DTD as close to ovulation as possible. But assuming you're both healthy then just have fun with it 🙂
