Am I imagining this faint line? Or is this positive?

Came off the pill early September - and have had pretty regular periods since then. Ovia says I am now two days late for AF - I did this test this morning. Can anyone else see a line?

Do a digital test, the ones that say pregnant or not pregnant, they’re the easiest haha :)

Thanks for replying. Do I need to wait until tomorrow morning to do a digital test? Or as I am late can I take one at any time of day? Thanks xx

@67loua if you're late I'd say you could do a digital today but after a 3 hour hold Smile

Possible stupid question but a 3 hour hold? Hold it in for 3 hours then go?? Lol thank you!!

Ok so! (Period was due yesterday)

Poundland test at 830am - faint line, Poundland test at 11.30 another faint line. Just been to Sainsbury’s and we picked up Sainsbury’s own and clear blue dating. Clear blue “pregnant 1-2 weeks” and Sainsbury’s has a faint line.

Am I safe to say I am pregnant? Lol!

What do I do now?? We were trying etc so we are happy but it’s only been 3 months and first baby so do I need to keep checking throughout the week? Do I phone the doctors?

We should have been married this year but Covid cancelled it (4 times!!) wedding was booked for may 2021 and we wasn’t holding much hope for that - so perhaps we were supposed to have a baby first!

Who knows. I’m all nervous. I’ve done 4 tests at different times today surely that is defo positive? Lol We are both a bit giddy and in disbelief

You don't really 'do' anything! Really no need to see a Dr. Cut down on caffeine, stop alcohol etc. Call your local maternity unit when you are around 8 weeks to arrange booking in appointment.

Congratulations !!

@67loua If you're in the UK then normally yourself refer to your local midwife unit. They'll want to book you in for when you're around 8 weeks pregnant so it's a good idea to call anytime to refer yourself. You can find your local unit using Google or call your GP and ask them as they'll have the number.

Other than that as a PP said the guidance is no alcohol and max of 200mg caffeine a day. Also start taking folic acid and vitamin D if you haven't already. Personally I took a full pregnancy vitamin when I got my BFP cause I had heard a lot of people get anemia in pregnancy. But folic acid and vitamin D are the only 2 that are specifically recommended by the NHS.

Thank you all! Yes I am UK so I will call the GP tomorrow. (After doing another test to me sure as I am that person lol)

I have been taking seven seas trying for a baby pills - do I need to switch these to something else?

Kinda scary all this unknown lol!! Feel like I may end up posting / reading a lot on here. We always says we will keep it a secret and not tell anyone until we have a scan to show off.

Which feels super strange as even as a fully grown adult with a mortgage, almost married and a dog - I just wanna phone my mum!! Lol

But just picturing telling her and my dad as a surprise will be nice.

Let’s hope this sticks and we really are having a baby!! Scary stuff lol!

Yes I’d suggest to wait till your 12 weeks scan to be 100% sure, and relaxed about it ☺️☺️ The first trimester is the hardest as anything can change unfortunately, but it’s very important to stay positive :) sending you lots of positivity and good vibes !!! Take care op xx
