Last attempt before IVF, now late period

So this cycle of trying was my last attempt before going on the pill in preparation for IVF late Jan, which we're paying for.

My cycle is typically 25-27 days (last month it was 25 days) and always has 2 days of spotting before Day 1.

This month I ovulated on Day 16 which is late for me, it's usually Day 14.

I'm now on Day 29, no period, no spotting. I took a FRER this morning and it was negative.

Even with the late ovulation I would at least be expecting to have started spotting by now.

This is just my body messing with me one last time isn't it?

It could be your body playing tricks with you or it could be the start of some positive news. If you can wait 2 days and then test again.
If you have ovulated late that would push your period back but unfortunately its gonna be a waiting game for AF or the positive.
