Shorter/slightly lighter periods after coming off pill

I used to be on a combined hormone pill, stopped in June to start TTC October (wanted a few months to get it out of my system, we used condoms in this time)

Since then I’ve noticed my periods are usually 3 days and not really heavy, 2 days of medium-heavy flow and then a light flow day

I’m 23 and was on the pill for just under 2 years, before then I never took a contraceptive at all (didn’t have a partner) my periods were 4 days (sometimes 5 but the 5th day was more spotting than anything) and I usually had 1 heavy flow day and medium the rest

I didn’t think too much of it but I’m irrationally panicking that it means my hormones are imbalanced or not how they should be? We’re on our 3rd cycle of trying

Is this just normal after coming off the pill? And did you still conceive after lighter periods

Or do I go and see my GP...

I used to have quite longish periods on the pill (progesterone only) and since stopping I now have 3 day periods 2 of medium/heavy bleeding and one light one. My cycle length is pretty short at 24 days is the only thing. I've been off the pill for almost a year now and it's stayed the same. Been TTC for 6 months now so can't help with if it effects you long term :(

@VNttc it’s weird my cycles are 34 days and I don’t know why I just would expect them to be longer with my cycle being a bit longer!

Sending you lots of baby dust hope your time is soon xxx
