When to take day 21 progesterone test with late ovulation and short luteal phase?

Hi all, I've ordered a day 21 at-home progesterone blood test from Superdrug. I ovulate on day 20 and have a 10 day luteal phase - is it best to take this 7 days after ovulation on CD27, or halfway through my luteal phase on CD25? Google has very conflicting advice and Superdrug just say day 21, obviously very unhelpful when you ovulate late! Thanks in advance!

Hi there, day 21 is based on the average normal cycle with ovulation at day 14. The progesterone test should be done 5-7 days post ovulation. I would track ovulation and when you get a positive result, take the test 6 days after that, as ovulation usually happens 12-36 hours after a positive result. hope this helps :-)
