Hi All,
Sorry I am new here so might not have all the right abbreviations so please excuse me.
I had a MMC at 6w6d which was confirmed on week 8. I had medical management straight after on 11th Nov and bled for 1 week. We did the deed just after bleeding stopped around 19th Nov. I am still waiting on my period, all pregnancy tests are showing as 1-2 weeks positive and big smiley face on Clearblue OPK - could it be possible that I conceived RIGHT after my bleeding stopped? The pregnancy ended at 6w6d 2 weeks before baby dance. Can anyone help me here?

First of all, I am so sorry about your MMC Flowers

It is indeed possible to conceive straight away. But it is also possible to have residual HCG in your system causing the positives. Did you get a negative result on the same test after your MMC?

The only way of knowing is to ask your GP to do a HCG test 48 hours apart or to take pregnancy tests a few days apart to see if the line progresses and becomes darker.

I really hope you get the result that you want Flowers

Thanks so much, I haven't had any neg tests at all. I only took one on Thus 3rd Dec to see if I was negative but it showed 1-2 weeks, which would be accurate from when we DTD but it was so close to the end of the bleed. I will take another test in a few days, if it shows 1-2 weeks again I know that my hormones are just normalising I suppose.

Unfortunately as the other poster said there is no way to know without having had a negative test. Your best bet would be to have your GP do bloods to see which way the hCG is going. Down means this is still part of miscarriage, up means likely new pregnancy.
