Coming off the pill and getting pregnant

Just a quick question of how quickly did you get pregnant after coming off the pill?

Also did anyone miss a few pills by accident and get pregnant?

Just wondering how quickly can it happen for some people?

Took 3 months with ds 1 and two months with this pregnancy, but I know both times the first month I didn't ovulate, I consider myself very lucky to fall that quick

Took me 12 months, unfortunately it ended in a miscarriage! But defo didn't expect it to take so long!

We were lucky and I got pregnant straight away as soon as I came off the pill. Great news because we wanted a baby, but made me realise that I was potentially a few missed pills away from an accident for years!

Yer all my adult life from prob 14- till now 32 only time off when pregnant, DH got short changed with the promise of months of sex ttc then fell quickly and now on pelvic rest due to having to have a stitch for ic 🤦‍♀️

@coles85 haha yes exactly! You never know how quickly your body can go back to normal as some women wait a 1 year + sometimes.

@88bowie this is the exact same as me and I do worry sometimes as I have been on the pill for 10+ years also. What pill were you on out of curiosity? I'm on the combined pill

Dc2 2 months

I was on pill for 8 years, and conceived 10 months after stopping

On pill for 12 years. Got pregnant cycle 2 , 6 months after coming off it. My cycle was absent for a long time after I stopped taking it. Unfortunately ended in MMC but hoping to try again

@moonbambi all sorts over the years mainly cerazette prob over 10yr before ds1 then after him for 6 months or so then gedarel before this one

Was on the pill for 10 years.

6 months for the first pregnancy that ended sadly in miscarriage at 11 weeks

Fell pregnant (with now 6m DD) on my 3rd cycle after miscarriage

I had a withdrawal bleed and a month later had a light 3 day bleed which I assume was my first "normal" period and then pregnant after that. I'd been on the combined pill for a year but implant and depo injection before so on contraception for 11 years. Good luck to you

I conceived the first month off the pill in 2012 sadly ended in mc at 7 weeks. I then had a d&c to remove the pregnancy, we then had sex 10 days later thinking we wouldn’t get pregnant that soon after and to our surprise we did with DD1. Then came off the pill in 2016 and conceived DD2 on the 2nd month. We are now trying to conceive baby no 3! This is my 2nd month off the pill again and I’m certain I ovulated this month due to lots of Ewcm, now 7dpo so hoping for another early BFP!😊

Came off the pill in the January, no period until the May, DS conceived in august.

On the pill for 12 years solidly (apart from lots of missed pills in this time. Probably averagely 2-3 per month).

Came off the pill had my withdrawl bleed and then conceived 2 weeks later.

So don't necessarily think that if you forget to take pills and you have never gotten pregnant that it will take you a long time to concieve after coming off the pill properly.

@AlexandraB2021 this is kind of the same as me! What pill were you on out of curiosity? I'm on rigevidon which is a combined pill
