No Cervical Mucus could it be due to Progesterone use?

I have used progesterone 200 mg per day during last two cycles, starting two days after ovulation until negative pregnancy test... My luteal phase is 11 days and my doctor told it can be a good idea to use the progestore and make it longer, I noticed since after my ovulation in last cycle I dont have cervical mucus at all. I read this lack of CM maybe an indication of lack of ovulation... has anayone experienced something similar and managed to get pregnant? Best wishes to everyone TTC,

My CM totally dried up since I had DD year ago. I’m about to start TTC #2 and lack of CM worried me, so I read about taking 2000mg of evening promise oil every day. I only took it for about 3 days and then had a good 2-3 days of watery CM like I used to! So I personally think it helped.

I don’t think lack of CM is lack of ovulation though. Sometimes it just stays up near the cervix so you don’t know you have it anyway!

Conceive Plus or Preseed mimics natural CM so use that as a lubricant when you DTD Grin you can get it on Amazon.

HTH! X

Just realised you are referring to your CM after ovulation. Again I don’t think no CM would be a sign you haven’t ovulated. It should be creamy due to the progesterone anyway but try the evening primrose oil and see if it helps Smile

I don’t have the EWCM ever gone talks about but do have positive ovulation tests, we have started using the conceive plus lube.

Thank you for the tip on promise oil @mamaatthegym I’m going to try it!

@mamaatthegym Thank you
I dont have any cervical mucus really dry since I ovulated in my previous cycle, my pregnancy test turned negative than I had my period and still dry. I normally start to feel abit slippery and wet 2 days after my period stops, not I am in my folicular phase 9 days since the first day of my period and still no CM... I have used progesterone in the luteal phase of my 2 previous cycles that I failed to conceive, I think I messed up my hormonal balance. I will try the eveningp oil and see
