Still a faint visible positive OT after ovulation

Hi!
It's been several days past ovulation, but I did a new OT today. It does still show a faint visible line though.
Wonder if the OT can detect early pregnancy levels, like a pregnancy test?

How many days post ovulation is this? How confident are you that you actually ovulated with the last peak test?

There are three options here basically:

  1. You didn't ovulate last time and your body is gearing up for another try
  2. LH fluctuates throughout the cycle and this is just a normal amount for you to randomly have in the LP (the line never really goes away for most ladies as there's always some LH present, but I'm not used to seeing it this strong during the luteal phase)
  3. If you're more than 8DPO then maybe you are pregnant and if so then yes an LH test can pick up on HCG.

All guesswork though!

Thank you for your reply!
I had all the typical and clear symptoms for ovulation about a week ago, and a very positive OT. So I think that it had happened.
Perhaps it's just another random lh rise in my cycle right now.
Well, I'll see how it goes, and perhaps test for pregnancy.
