Stupidly low BBT temps - any success?

Morning ladies, I have woken to another stupidly low post ovulation temp... and my I'm feeling a little deflated.

As you can see from my chart my temps are low both before and after ovulation. It was the same last cycle too but the cycle before my post ov temps were closer to 36.4.

I thought my thermometer calibration was out of whack so I bought another, showed them both in my mouth when I woke up and they were the same... 😆 so its not that.

Its also worth mentioning that im a mouth breather (i know 😑😑😑) but that doesn't really explain my previous cycles higher temps.

My plan is to start vaginally temping from next cycle with my old thermometer and I have ordered a private thyroid test (due to arrive next week)

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Has anyone had post ovulation temps lower that 36.2 and gone on to be successful?

Sounds like you have a good plan! Vaginal temps and thyroid tests will arm you with the info you need! Remember TSH should be under 2.5 comfortably for conception. 2.5 max but I erred on the side of caution. Good luck!

Thank you! I am thinking my thyroid could be the issue, but I don't have any other symptoms of hypothyroidism.

Do you know if hyperthyroidism causes low temps too?

I don't know, I was hypothyroid. There are 300 symptoms so only your test will tell! Fingers crossed you get answers soon.

Oh, haha, maybe I do have some of the symptoms then 😅 I hope the test can tell me more, thanks again!

Hi @Kay00 - found your thread as I have similarly low temps (but my thyroid results were fine)

Did you go on to have a pregnancy? if so - did you manage to work out if low temps impacted?
