Can you override Fertility Friend's prediction?

I'm pretty sure I ovulated yesterday on CD17, based on OPK and BBT. However FF has recorded ovulation on CD15, this is impossible because I didn't get my LH peak until CD16 & CD17. I don't want this left recorded on the wrong day, is there a way to manually override the app? You can do this on Femometer but I can't find how to do it on Fertility Friend.

Anyone got experience with the Fertility Friend app?

I think there is a way you can set it to advanced? So it takes into your other signs such as CM and OPKs. Somewhere in the settings, perhaps someone can direct you there?

FF website is pretty good with FAQ

Hi just in case you're not sorted yet, you go into settings (top right hand corner), detector/override setting, then where it says detector you could chose manual (and chose the day you want) or you could chose OPK which will probably adjust to the day you want.
If you override though it stops the app giving you the solid crosshairs, so if you're like me and want your graph to look 'pretty' (😄 maybe just me!) you could just change your temp (or tell it to ignore your temp) on CD16 as that is what has thrown it off...

Thanks so much for your help everyone, I've managed to change it to monitor OPK and it now has my ovulation noted correctly 😀. It's got rid of the middle line which is a bit annoying but I'll have to live with it 😆. I tried discarding the temp on CD16 but it just said it couldn't recognise a pattern!

@ButterscotchBabe glad you got sorted. If you're bothered about the full crosshairs (red lines in both directions) then you could try popping back to advanced mode and discarding CD16 in a couple of days. By then there will be enough data for it to detect ovulation. There might already be now actually. I suspect it may have said that about the lack pattern as there wasn't yet enough temperatures after the event. It needs 3 higher temperatures to confirm a pattern and give solid crosshairs. Looking good how it is, just if you're like me and enjoy a perfect graph to obsess over for the whole TWW 😬

@fourteen6 ah yes I changed it back to advanced and the lines have come back! 😀😀 I didn't need to remove the temp on CD16, it must have detected ovulation from the 3 following temps. I was obviously just being impatient before 😂, thank you! x

Glad you're sorted Smile Hopefully the rest of the TWW flies by for you x

@fourteen6 thank you 😊 although it probably won't 😂. Hope things are going okay for you and we both get BFPs soon! x
