Faint lines on FRER, Chemical pregnancy?

Hi all,

I have two kids already and we made a slightly last minute decision to try for DC3, so didn't think this would be likely this month, however on what I thought was 10DPO I just 'felt' pregnant so took a FRER and got a fairly clear but faint line. Tested again at what I thought was 14DPO and the line is there, but fainter, so I am assuming this is not good news. No period yet though.

I've never experienced this before as previously I've had blazing BFPs on FRERS at CD 12.

Grateful for any experiences of this!

If your line is fainter and you haven’t drunk loads or peed loads before testing, then the odds are that it’s a chemical.

I’m sorry. I’ve had one and it was horrendous, having had two mcs previously and only “getting” to be pregnant for four days was tough.

If you want to be, there’s a theory that you get pregnant more quickly straight after one if you want to try again.

Let yourself feel your feelings and look after yourself.

Thanks for your message, I think I’m reaching that conclusion.

I’d post a photo but I’m a new user so it won’t let me yet!

Hi, exact same thing has just happened to me. I’m taking it as a chemical and just hoping period turns up soon. Xxx

Hi @JChina, it does look like a chemical from those photos, I’m sorry. Do another in 48 hours to confirm, and look after yourself.

Thanks, starting bleeding today Sad so that answers that! I'm feeling a bit rubbish but mostly grateful that it didn't drag on too long. Onwards!
