Anyone else in the dreaded tww?
I'm currently 2DPO. Would be nice to chat to others in the same waiting game to keep us sane!

@S345 thank you so much! I really had given up this week but hadn't felt well today at all ❤️

Twinkle1989 · 20/11/2020 16:37

@Furbabymum15 I think it's been 9-11
I've had a really messed up cycle with two peaks but I tracked on the app which both say different things for when I'm due on.

One is Sunday
One is Wednesday

I've had a tiny bit of pink on the tissue yesterday so assumed AF was fast approaching but nothing else aside from a bit of period pain (or so I thought!)

Mainly sweating like a pig

@Twinkle1989 goes to show how much our bodies can trick us! How exciting, hope everything goes well for you 😊 did you do anything differently this month to usual?

Twinkle1989 · 20/11/2020 16:40

@S345 thank you ❤️ what stage will I be confident this isn't a chemical pregnancy?!

Honestly? I tracked ovulation and I used Fertilily- it's like a cup - after sex ❤️ apparently ensures all the sperm have the best chance by the cervix ❤️

I've just bloody bought another ovulation kit and a bulk pack of FR 😂 already dispatched on prime 😂 I'll use them for peace of mind over coming weeks xx

S345 · 20/11/2020 16:47

@Twinkle1989 lots of positive vibes ✨❤️

Haha that's sods law, the CB ovulation sticks are on offer atm on Amazon and I've got them in my basket ready to purchase when AF shows up 😂 ooo that sounds interesting I will take a look at that thank you!

Take care, you will have to keep us all updated 😊 xx

KitQ · 20/11/2020 16:52

Congratulations @Twinkle1989 !! Great news.

Highfalutinlootin · 20/11/2020 16:53

@Twinkle1989 How exciting!! So happy for you. Had not heard of that cup (would a Diva cup work?) but might look into it if AF shows on Tuesday for me.

Twinkle1989 · 20/11/2020 17:00

@Highfalutinlootin I'm guessing they're the same sort of thing - Fertilily is very soft and smaller so was more comfortable in my opinion (I can't get on with cups usually!) but I used it for an hour or two (oops only supposed to be 1 hour) after sex ❤️
Of course I can't say for sure what it was but it obviously hasn't hurt ❤️

Thank you all for being so wonderful and keeping me sane xxxxx

madeinthe80z · 20/11/2020 17:39

Congratulations @Twinkle1989 that's fantastic news!

Highfalutinlootin · 20/11/2020 21:36

Well, 10 DPO for me and just got a BFN on a FRER, so I suppose I'm probably out. Has anyone gotten a BFN with an FRER this late then gone on to get a BFP?

mommyofone2019 · 20/11/2020 21:50

@Highfalutinlootin would love to know this too. I'm 11dpo today and had another bfn too xx

Bellyache/cramp again tonight. Pretty sure af is on the way 🥺

KitQ · 21/11/2020 02:41

@Highfalutinlootin I would say 10 dpo is considered early rather than late from what I’ve read to be honest. I wouldn’t count yourself out just yet.

mommyofone2019 · 21/11/2020 08:18

Well ladies that's me out for this month. Had cramps last night/this morning and just knew af was on the way.
Went for a wee at like 3am. And there she was 🥺 like wtf!
Af not due until Monday/Tuesday 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ladies, I just wanted to mention the Fertilily cup which I had used this month and I think it's a little different to the mooncup so would suggest trying it rather than the Mooncup.

Fertilily are similar to a moon cup but much smaller, softer and comfortable.

The Fertilily gets inserted like an umbrella so it pushes all the sperm further towards your cervix before you tug on the stem which pops it into position so it may be worth trying instead of a mooncup. Mooncups are inserted differently which wouldn't necessarily push the sperm up - if this makes any sense at all

I used it this month and I'm pregnant ❤️ definitely worth thinking about for £30 xx

mommyofone2019 · 21/11/2020 09:04

Thanks @Twinkle1989 will look into it.

My cycles have been all over the place the last few months, I'm convinced it's the pregnacare tablets I'm taking.

Can I ask you ladies what tablets/vitamins your're taking?

OP posts:
Twinkle1989 · 21/11/2020 09:14

@mommyofone2019 it's funny you say that - when I started taking them, before TTC, I noticed my periods changed - later, and earlier - in all honesty, I forget to take them regularly so can't say longer term whether it settled down or not. I perhaps took 3/7 days 😳

I'm sure I read somewhere else about it messing with periods

mommyofone2019 · 21/11/2020 09:17

@Twinkle1989 I've read it too. I've been about 5 days late so far and now 2 days early!!
Did you take anything?

OP posts:
Twinkle1989 · 21/11/2020 09:31

@mommyofone2019 only pregnacare when I remembered which was rare. I bought 3 boxes months ago and still am in the first box.
DP was taking the men's version sporadically too.

I will now take the pregnancy vitamin.

Procieve is supposed to be good and was my next stop - it's 3 for 2 in Boots - they do a max one for older mums / dads and the reviews are brilliant and say that it increases sperm count? Who knows!

I cut caffeine out completely though for the last 6 weeks xx

Twinkle1989 · 21/11/2020 09:36

@mommyofone2019 I'm terrible for symptom spotting and haven't had any tell tale ones - my boobs aren't sore etc. I literally just felt weird, hot, sick and dizzy yesterday so was worried I had picked up a bug. I had a few very mild period cramps but it's AF due tomorrow so assumed it was that.

Feel absolutely fine today - nothing at all.

We DTD every other day just in between the two peaks. The last time I didn't think would have worked because there was a erm...spillage so still used Fertilily but thought it was pointless. Xx

BFN for me this morning. Still very early days but disheartening to see nonetheless.
