Chemical Pregnancy - how long for periods to regulate again ??

Hi Everyone just wondering if anyone has suffered anything similar to me as I can't find anything on the internet about it. I came off the depo provera august last year and my periods regulated by December for 3/4 months and then I had w chemical pregnancy in may. Since then I've had a 72 day cycle, a 47 day and a 59 day cycle. I genuinely don't think there is anything else wrong with me other than waiting for my body to get back to normal but I can't see anything about anyone else having this ? I confirmed i ovulation on CD45 of my 59 day cycle through bbt so I know I ovulated. Any help please 😫

Hi @lucyrp I am sorry to hear about your long and irregular cycles- have you spoken to your GP about them? Since it's been going on a while, I think they might investigate. It must be so frustrating having such a long wait while TTC- a TWW is bad enough!

Sadly I don't have any decent advice but I am watching with interest, and want to say you aren't alone. My cycle has changed following a chemical pregnancy but in the opposite direction- my last one was 15 days!! just about bleeding more than I'm not these days! I am going to give it another month and if they are still very short I will speak to them.

@Bertyb7 oh yes I'm in contact with the doctor I'm being refwrred to a fertility clinic because we've been TTC for 15/16 months now but I wanted to ask if anyone else had any other experience of it because I genuinely think there's nothing wrong with me and that its just my body taking it's time to go back to normal. I was hoping for someone to reassure me that I'm right😬. I've got a DS who's 5 from a previous relationship and I've always had 30 day regular cycles until on contraception then they returned and to normal then I managed to get pregnant but lost it. Ever since my body's just lost its mind! Oh no that sounds terrible for you too! Good luck to you too x
