What day did I ovulate? OvuSense/fertility friend

Hi,

Just as the title says really! I use OvuSense to track core temperature, it's supposedly a bit different to bbt but in my past experience OvuSense and fertility friend/Flo/glow have always delivered the same results/ovulation day when I've input my data!

• I had ewcm on 1st November (CD62)

OvuSense says: 5th November (CD66)
Fertility friend/Flo says 3rd November (CD64)

I know it's only a matter of days so it doesn't really matter but I'm just curious 😊 thanks!

Looking at your first chart I think you're not quite at the 0.11 degrees higher than your previous 6 days so technically it would be 5th November.

@reubs33 I would guess CD63 as typically temp drops when you ovulate or just before and then spikes 24 hrs afterwards

I would say CD63 also. Your temp doesn't have to rise 11degree to indicate ovulation. A sustained temp rise does.
I used ovusense too and it had my ovulation date incorrect every month (I had a scan at one point during testing which confirmed it was out in the particular cycle).
I would continue to use OvuSense purely for its accuracy in gaining your temp, but found FF much more accurate in getting the actual ovulation date.

Thanks @TH22 hopefully I am as that would put me closer to doing a test haha! I am so impatient.

I use OvuSense purely because it's easier to temp, I couldn't get to grips with manual bbt. But yeah I think fertility friend might be a bit more accurate. I find it normally gets my temps right but it always shows I have a short literal phase so possibly the ovulation date is out a little!
