Hey @MrsTwentyEight sorry to hear you're feeling low 😔 I'm on month 7 now and it's starting to really get to me too, however I do have issues with my cycle since stopping the pill and also a far from ideal TSH (thyroid) for TTC. I think around this time must be when you just start feeling pretty hopeless about it all. I'm CD26 and no ovulation yet 🤦🏻‍♀️ Are you trying for your first? X

Socu3 · 08/11/2020 14:13

Me too, in the same boat. But I'm 8/9 dpo and this is my 5th cycle! Its so frustrating and I've got no patience at all

MrsTwentyEight · 08/11/2020 14:17

@MintGreenLife @Socu3

Thank you. Trying for my first too ...cycle 7! Just so tired for seeing the BFNs. I was so naive and believed the first few months was all it would take 🙁

@MintGreenLife sorry to hear about your cycles not normalising. Do you think you may have missed OV date? Do you use digital tests or temp ?

@Socu3 are you trying for your first ? I'm with you with the impatience!! I'm so impatient with everything in life generally and this being out of my hands makes it so much worse!

@MrsTwentyEight no, not my first I've got a DS already and now we are keen to have another.. got pregnant 2 months of trying with my ds so I figured it would be as easy this time!

Ahh yes it must be so frustrating
How old is DS?
I think this whole Covid and lockdown situation doesn't help as we are all always on edge

@MrsTwentyEight first for us also. Nope haven't missed it as I chart BBT and use OPKs. So far the earliest I've ovulated since I started tracking 6 months ago is CD25 and latest was CD40. Hoping it's coming soon but who knows! My SIL just announced they are pregnant, which was upsetting. Is just starting to feel like it's not going to happen for us, which I know is really pessimistic. Feel like I've got myself into a bad headspace at the mo! X

MrsTwentyEight · 08/11/2020 14:34

I know exactly what you mean. It feels like a dream now. I can't even picture what I would be like if I was to see a BFP as it's all feeling so surreal :/
Ahh I see! Just DTD every few days and hopefully you'll catch it when it happens. Have you considered seeing the GP and clomid ? I've told myself I'll see the GP in January if nothing happens by then.

@MrsTwentyEight I'm the same! I think it's a self preservation thing, I can't even imagine getting a BFP or a future with a baby in it, which is a horrible place to be. I've heard a few others say they started feeling like that around the 6 month point, so probably quite normal I think.

I went to the GP about a month ago which is when I found out my TSH is a bit higher than it should be for TTC. It's just about in the 'normal' range for the NHS though, so I've been uncertain about what to do. Have now decided to do a provaye thyroid test to get a more comprehensive look at everything and am waiting for that to arrive. If my TSH comes back the same or higher I will go back to the GP and try to get them to treat it to lower it, and if no luck am going to go private, as I'm sure that's what's causing the issues with my cycles. How are your cycles? We're you on any kind of hormonal birth control before TTC? X

Socu3 · 08/11/2020 16:25

@MrsTwentyEight my ds is nearly 2.5 and desperate not to have too big an age gap between him and new sibling.
Yes completely agree about covid, we are also doing up a house so we've got added stresses too! It sorts of gets in the way of a nice relaxing ttc Grin

MrsTwentyEight · 09/11/2020 13:48

@MintGreenLife i was on the pill for a few years but I stopped that well over a year ago...may even be 2. Hope you're able to get some answers! My cycles have been a bit all over the place but they tend to be 32-33 days for the past few months so that's not helped with my TTC. I misjudged OV date totally on some months as due to the nature of our jobs, regular DTD we only manage during FW! Or presumed FW...

Atleast the house thing will keep you distracted!!
