Has anyone tried chinese herbal medicine to aid conception?

Looking into any ways to boost fertility naturally whilst waiting to go for tests with DR and was wondering if this is worth giving a go. Does anyone have any experiences of using chinese herbal medicine to support conception (particularly if after TTC for over a year without success) that they could share?
I have ordered a ziggy cup to see if that helps and doing all the usual tracking, etc.
There is a chinese herbal practitioner close to me who does consultations so it's not just ordering something at random but it's £40 for the consultation. I'm at the point where I would try anything to be honest but it would be good to know of others' experiences to know if it's just a waste of money or worth trying.

Might be worth adding- part of the reason I'm looking into this is that my periods only last a couple of days and when I looked at getting the ziggy cup or softdisc, someone left a review saying they used it with GinSen tablets and conceived. When I looked at the GinSen tablets a lot of reviews said that it helped them with their periods, they had less pain, etc but people who had shorter periods started to have longer ones. I've often wondered if this might have something to do with my difficulty conceiving so wondered if they might be worth trying. I'd rather speak to a herbal medicine specialist though than just order them online.
