The long tww begins!!! My positive opk was Friday so guessing today I'm 1dpo. Been dtd everyday for last week so hoping we have caught! Although I only have one Fallopian tube due to ectopic two months ago xxx

Nearly a positive OPK today! So guessing I'll be Ov in next few days. Dtd last three nights and will just keep dtd for next 5 days I reckon?!

Cd15 btw! Usually have a 30 day cycle! Xx

@littleeggcup Sounds good! I think maybe we didn't dtd enough last month so we're going to ramp it up this month

I'm still having weird pink cm even tho my AF finished 3 days ago. We dtd last night just in case its ovulation, but seems way too early (no opks left!)

CD18 for me today, expecting ovulation any day now. Cycles have been around 36 days recently. Going to try DTD every day for the next week or until my LH starts dropping. Hoping for a clearer peak on my OPK's as they were all over the place last month!

I don't have a great feeling about being pregnant this month...

Stupidly used lube last night and on research apparently that can stop the sperm swimming up to the egg! So annoyed.

We have dtd all week; ov is today or tomorrow so will dtd for next few days too....
But think I ruined it with the lube! Damn!

@littleeggcup Oh no, hopefully one little guy will make it up there! Had no idea about that. Feel like we're always learning things about TTC no matter how long you've been trying for. Will keep my fingers crossed for you!

I reckon I'll be getting my peak today, LH been climbing all morning. Have managed to DTD 3 times over the last 4 days and will again tonight. We're in the middle of redecorating our house and bloody knackered 😂

I'm a little more relaxed this month. I am still using OPKs and had my peak yesterday.

I did start temping but lasted about a week and then I kept forgetting haha even set an alarm and just snoozed it!!

Got until February to fall pregnant then we will be going to see if my single remaining tube is fit enough !! I think it may be blocked... we shall see though!

@Toastedsesame I’m doing well how about you? I finally got my opk park yesterday, so luckily it looks like i didn’t miss my fertile window... looks like this will be a long cycle for me then🙈 maybe I have one lazy and one hyperactive ovary 🤷🏻‍♀️😂🙈

@Grumpsy Weird that you say that, my GP did mention to me that I might have hyperovulation, as I have a lot of ovulation pain, apparently its genetic and there are tons of twins in my family on both sides. DS1 is a singleton tho obviously.

Exciting that everyone is coming up to fertile time!

@littleeggcup What will happen if you reach Feb, further investigation? We have imposed March/April as a cut of for ourselves because we don't want another January baby - literally our whole family is born in January so its too expensive as it is! Will then resume in May if we haven't conceived by then.

Yes! Normal pube can be too acidic for little swimmers. Fingers crossed a couple good swimmers are in a good position for you @littleeggcup !

@toastedsesame I've been having a bit of pink discharge after DTD when it's been quite deep... I figure it's from the cervix being roughed up a bit? 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Grumpsy maybe you have a stealth ovary and it just acts silently, like an ova ninja!

@Toastedsesame we have twins in our family but they’re identical.

@MamaMoonbeam I think I have one ovary that can’t get rid of its egg fast enough and the other that wants to keep it for as long as possible 😂🙈 - I must add that this is a fairly recent development though... I seem to have alternating one short and one long cycle over the last 3 months 🤔 I’ll ask gynae at my appointment and wait for them to send the men in white coats when they decide I’ve lost it 😂

@littleeggcup have you tried preseed or conceive plus lube? You can use those when ttc

@Grumpsy I think that makes perfect sense! It could well be that.

And so it begins, my two week wait! Have no tests in whatsoever to try and discourage myself from testing early. I feel less stressed this month but we've had a lot going on so I've not had time to think about it much lol.

@Grumpsy Thats good. I'm on cd10 today. My flo app is saying I won't ovulate for another 10 days, so bit of a wait for me! We are DTD anyway just in case, don't have any OPK's at the moment so just keeping it all chill for now (well, trying)

@MamaMoonbeam Oh no, I'm so sorry! He was a beauty, I'm sure he had a lovely life.
I had to have my 14 year old tabby put to sleep a few years ago. Would love another cat but don't think I could deal with that pain again. Hope you're okay. X
