Oh @Forest27 just seen your update about your BFP! How exciting! Definitely looks like a positive to me. Hope all goes well for you!

Grumpsy · 11/11/2020 19:45

@Forest27 congratulations 🥳 hope it sticks!

RichmondLady1981 · 11/11/2020 19:51

Hi ladies. I’ve been chatting for a few months. This is mine this cycle.

As long as your first half of your cycle (follicular phase) is below cover line and the second half (luteal) phase is above, that’s a sign of a good healthy hormone cycle. It takes some practise though.

You can definitely pinpoint ovulation. You can confirm it’s happened when your temp shifts up after ovulation so it can be reassuring to know you’re ovulating. So many women don’t know this! They use LH OPKs and get a positive and presume they are ovulating. Unfortunately it’s not the case So I think it’s great you’re doing it.

You can also identify short luteal phases too ! Your luteal phase should be over 10 days ideally.

Temping can be a good indicator of pregnancy. After 10dpo, if your temp starts to drop you’re unlikely to be pregnant. If it stays up, it goes higher you’re more than likely preggers. 😀

RichmondLady1981 · 11/11/2020 19:52

Meant to say I’ve been ‘temping’ not chatting! Ha!

Toastedsesame · 11/11/2020 20:10

@Forest27 You got a BFP?! Did I miss this? Congratulations!!

@Dearmaria They say 6-12dpo for implantation so certainly not too late in theory.

Toastedsesame · 11/11/2020 20:12

Still peak 🤔

Forest27 · 11/11/2020 20:22

Thanks everyone! @Toastedsesame I started a lines eyes thread this morning with a faint positive on a cheapie and tested again tonight and got this 😬 it’s not darkest of lines but I am only 8/9DPO! Really hope it sticks! I’ll do another test tomorrow to see if the line is darker!

@Dearmaria I’ve heard mixed things on this! It’s possibly implantation as I had it with my last pregnancy. It was just a brown dot a few days before AF was due ☺️

Toastedsesame · 11/11/2020 20:26

@Forest27 ahh I was scrolling through previous pages thinking I'd missed it, haha. Congrats to you! Its a good line! Please update us if you test again - I love to see a good line progression!

RichmondLady1981 · 11/11/2020 21:02

Congratulations @Forest27 💕

littleeggcup · 12/11/2020 07:40

Ohhh Congratulations!! How exciting.

I didnt even bother testing this morning!

Af is just hanging on there haha keep spotting!! So annoying as wish she'd just start!!

OP posts:
RichmondLady1981 · 12/11/2020 08:23

@littleeggcup as long as AF stays away, there’s a chance! Lots of people have said they are expecting AF due to cramps and some spotting but these can be pregnancy signs too!

Are you temping? If so is your temp still over cover line? X

Grumpsy · 12/11/2020 08:35

@littleeggcup I also gave cramps this morning, have for the past day or so, but this isn’t unusual for me.

On a more positive note I think I’ve finally stopped bleeding/spotting so I’m hoping this is back to some sort of normality before AF turns up at the weekend

littleeggcup · 12/11/2020 08:37

I've only just started temping so it doesn't count! Just thought I'd start now to get me in the rhythm of things for when af arrives!

@Forest27 ooh! Congrats lovely xx Flowers

SarahAnne87 · 12/11/2020 09:11

Bit late to the party but mind if I join? We’re on our first month of TTC with baby #2. I’m 11dpo and absolutely driving myself mad symptom spotting and convincing myself I am pregnant, then not it’s awful! 🙈🙈

I had a miscarriage with my first pregnancy in 2018 then had DS in January 2019, didn’t think I would be as bed this time around with the TWW but I seem to be worse!!

RichmondLady1981 · 12/11/2020 11:39

Hi @SarahAnne87. Welcome. I’m 8dpo. I have a little boy who is 18 months but I had a mmc in July. Found out at my 12 weeks scan. I’m also over analysing every symptom- mind is playing tricks again!!!

Are you planning to test out wait for AF?

SarahAnne87 · 12/11/2020 12:29

My little boy is 22 months! So sorry for your loss ❤️
I definitely am too, it’s an awful wait isn’t it! I took a test yesterday which was negative, but it’s obviously really early. I think it’s unlikely abs more likely just my mind being a bit cruel, but one can hope! Are you testing?

Toastedsesame · 12/11/2020 12:44

Gosh sorry for your losses @SarahAnne87 and @richmondlady1981 it's heartbreaking to hear how common miscarriages are. Fingers crossed for both of you.

I haven't tested today but I'm getting a lot of yellowy cm which I distinctly remember having last time round.

Babyhoping1 · 12/11/2020 12:59

@Toastedsesame i had some yellowy cm what does it mean

Toastedsesame · 12/11/2020 13:01

@Babyhoping1 it's a good sign I think! 🤞🤞🤞

littleeggcup · 12/11/2020 13:45

Wahhh I had yellow cm too. But it's moved to pink to now brown!! I've had to come home from work today as I have such a bad migraine xx

@SarahAnne87 always good to be positive!! Who know what the next few days will bring. :) I am quite good at holding out and not testing but usually the day before my period I cave! 😂 Last time I tested a clear positive at 10dpo so I think I should be ok to test from Saturday. But I can’t face the negative result!! 😭. The thing is though, I like a few glasses on wine on a Saturday night and I don’t really want to do that if there’s a chance I’m pregnant. When will you test again?

@Toastedsesame thank you. I had no idea how common it is until it happened to me. Such a cruel thing. I just counted myself so lucky to have my son- helped me get through the grief a bit more easily. Remind me where you’re at with your cycle?

Toastedsesame · 12/11/2020 14:24

@RichmondLady1981 Are you 10dpo Saturday? I'd probably go for the glass of wine, one won't hurt. The day before I got my BFP with my son I went to a wedding and got blind drunk! Whoops!

I'm not sure where I'm at TBH, I've had a nightmare tracking my ovulation so I could be anywhere from 1-10 dpo haha! We've DTD 4 times in the last 10 days so I'm hoping thats enough. I'm going to test later because my cheapy tests should arrive and I can't help but POAS.

@littleeggcup Is the bleeding still brown? Sounds quite unusual for before AF. Sorry you have a migraine! I hope you can rest and feel better soon.

Same! I'm 11 dpo and ttc #2! Forgot how long the tww is😴 I took a test midday yesterday that was stark white and dont actually "feel" pregnant so not expecting it this month. Period is due on Sunday and I really wish time would just hurry up!
