Peak opk after rise in BBT - any ideas??

So usually my cycles are pretty normal. High opk, then peak then 2 days later bbt starts to rise indicating I have ovulated. Cycle length used to be 27-28 days With ovulation day14 when I was taking pregnacare but since stopping it’s gone to Ovulation day 18-22.

This cycle I’ve had high opk on and off since day 10. I had 3 days ewcm with lots of spotting on the last day then the following day had a rise in bbt but there was no peak opk (I know the surge can be fast but every month previously it has lasted 24 hours). I continued to check opk as until I saw the rise in bbt I didn’t think I have ovulated. Now a few days later i have a peak. Temperatures are still up so 🤷🏻‍♀️

I guess it doesn’t matter too much and time will tell. But would you guess I’m 5dpo or is this ovulation day??

I have attached my chart plus my OPKs. I did have a cover line u til I entered the peak opk then it took it away.

Gosh I'm sorry for the long cycle and the confusing stats! I'd say this is ovulation now and your temp will probably rise properly in the next few days.

If not then there's also the risk that it's an anovulatory cycle and the peak OPK just showed a failed attempt at ovulation.

@Juno231 thanks. Yeah that’s what I was worrying about when I wasn’t getting a peak opk and it was taking so long. I guess I’ll find out in the next week or so. Just so frustrating when my cycle is usually so easy to interpret.

I’m confused about my BBT chart. My temperature went over the cover line. I thought maybe it’s a blip and it’ll go down. I did an ovulation test because my fertile period just started so I thought I’d get started on doing my few days of tests (I’m doing OPK alongside BBT to confirm ovulation). I was shocked to see a really peak positive test on day 11! Then another positive’ish on day 12. I was expecting my temp to go up today but it’s kinda stayed at the same level. Now I’m wondering if I actually ovulated on day 8! Because after this my temperature rose. Or maybe it was a pre-ovulatory peak in prep for actual ovulation… I have no idea. Has this happened to anyone else… where you get a positive OPK test after a temp rise?
