I had an early ovulation this month on cycle day 8! AF ended cycle day 5!

FX for everyone!

My plan is to read a few books during the TWW too. I’ve halfway through Chris and Rosie Ramsay’s Shagged Married Annoyed book and I’ve got a couple of easy read girly books that I haven’t read yet.
Does anyone have a date in mind as to when they will test?

I'm going to test next Saturday 31st, when I'll be 12DPO, anyone else testing then?

No symptoms yet for me but I'm only 4DPO, what kind of cramping are you having? Could be implantation cramping if in the middle x

@HelloSunshine289 I'm also pretty early in my TWW but (not saying it's a symptom because it is way too early) I have a pressure/weird sensation in my lower abdomen. Feels like butterflies when I push down on the area. Don't really know how else to describe it. Could be nothing. Could also be in my head.

@MrsLauraM that sounds like a good book. Just googled it and I think a good laugh is needed during the TWW to maintain a level of optimism! I'm more of a fantasy book girl. I like getting lost in random worlds that don't exist. Slaying dragons, completing quests, meeting fairies. Hehe.

My cramping is on one side and I have a pulling/aching in lower abs. Apart from that I'm all good. This tww is going to be a struggle!! Must remain calm xx

TTC #1 and cycle #5.
I think recognise one or two names from other threads so nice to speak to you guys again. Think I’m 1DPO today. Almost missed my fertile window as I normally get positive opk around CD14/15 however got a positive CD12 in the morning!!! Hadn’t done any baby dancing up until then coz Iv been on night shifts! So managed to squeeze Some in but still think we got down to it a bit too late. Been worried about my uterus lining as I have had two chemicals in 5 months and very very light periods so have a private scan this morning to check and hopefully put my mind at rest.
I haven’t been temping this month so gone purely on the opk but still testing twice a day just incase I get a second surge. I’m thinking I’m going to stop temping and OPKs if I don’t get a BFP soon though as I have an obsessive personality and it’s been causing me too much stress. Had a chat with the other half last night and it might just be better for me if we just aim to hit the sheets every 2/3 days rather then putting the pressure on him when that lines starts to darken!
Anyway. That’s me. So how is everyone doing?

@sohe I think I recognize you! I also had a peak OPK way earlier than expected - it's usually around CD17/18 but this time was CD13. Almost missed it! Now I'm worried I might have PCOS or something else that messes up my ovulation and is making it difficult to conceive. This is our sixth cycle trying and I'm starting to get really fed up of the whole thing!

Hi @Sohe, glad you were able to catch O in time and sorry to hear about your chemicals as well, hopefully the scans don't show anything too serious.
I've read that a lot of people find success when they ditch all the OPKs and temping and that usually takes the pressure off of them so that sounds like a good idea.
This is my first cycle so I'm just trying to take it all in my stride. If we don't conceive this month, I'll still DTD with DH but I won't tell him exactly when I'm O'ing so that he doesn't feel too much pressure to perform - I'll try to keep it as casual as possible.

I'm now 3DPO and Took two FRER and both came up with a immediate white line then disappeared. Evap line??

@chillyfields if everything else is normally regular I’m sure one unusual cycle is nothing to worry about. Frustrating though as I’m sure you are like me and plan everything towards that fertile window and for it to change it just throws you off!! Apparently stress can bring forward or delay ovulation so it could be that?

@unCliche hi! Thanks, yes the sonographer said all the structures where fine and my lining was 11mm which is more then enough for healthy implantation so at least that is one thing I can stop worrying about.
Yes the opk strips are very good for learning about was is normal for your cycle, so I do 100% reccommend them but after a while those lines just stress you out.

@HelloSunshine289 3DPO is just too early to be BFPs as the egg will still be travelling to the uterus so won’t have had time to implant yet. The earliest I have seen people have BFPs is 7/8DPO so hold out til then if you can or you are just wasting money and FRERs are expensive!! It’s so difficult to hold out and POAS becomes so addictive!

@HelloSunshine289 if you get addicted to POAS (as most of us do 😂) buy some internet cheapies and you can test loads but it doesn’t break the bank. I use the one step ones. You can get a big pack for like a fiver. They are quite sensitive too then when you see a hint of a line on those you can bust out the FRER. Will save you loads of money. Yer there is so much information out there it’s hard to take it all in xx

How is everyone getting on?

I'm now 8DPO and have had some very faint lines on FRER and clear blue. I've had cramps in the middle of my stomach, pulling feeling, nauseous this morning with a dry throat, slightly sensitive boobs. AF is due in around 7/8 days. I'm not stressing too much over the faint lines because I know they could mean evap but they all appeared within time limit.

Morning @HelloSunshine289 that’s great news! Will you keep testing daily or wait a few days? Have you just tested today or did you get the faint lines before now?
I’m still really tired and having the most bizarre dreams every night. My nipples are super painful too. They normally become sore after o i Latino but not by this much and the pain usually subsided by now. I don’t want to do a test yet as I know it could be too early and I don’t want the disappointment of a BFN. I’m going to test on Wednesday if AF doesn’t arrive beforehand.
