Loads of EWCM but negative OPKs!

Please help me solve the mystery of the week!! I've been having LOADS of EWCM since Tuesday! So much so I need to wear a thin liner as it's so much! I've done some OPKs and all are stark negative, including the clear blue advanced.

I'm cd12. I usually ovulate at cd20 as I have 33 day cycles. My gp says due to the follicles on my ovaries, it is suggested I have PCOS.

I've never had this before though! Usually if I get EWCM, I get a blazing peak!

Does anyone know what's going on?

OPK from now after a 4hr pee hold. No change from this morning

Sorry I can’t help. I’m the opposite. Positive OPK this morning (2/3 days earlier then usual) and no fertile CM at all, literally feel dry as a bone down there 😂. No idea what is happening and it’s really stressed me out! X

@ReginaaPhalange I'm 7 months off the pill now, and from cycle 3 onwards I get loads of EWCM for ages until I finally manage to ovulate. The longest phase of EWCM lasted just over two weeks! I think it's oestrogen increasing, but then your body doesn't quite get there, so carries on producing EWCM until you finally ovulate? Not 100% sure though I'm afraid. Hopefully you'll have a nice early ovulation this cycle and it will happen in a few days. Also I will have EWCM for some time before I finally see my LH surge x
