Have I missed my fertile window?

Hi everyone. I normally get a positive opk in CD14/15. However I have just had a positive, or very close to positive, opk this morning on CD12. I’m on nights at the moment and partner is on days so we are ships passing in the night. Literally no time to DTD. CD14, 15 and 16 would have been on our days off so would have been perfect timing but now I feel like are going to miss ovulation. I haven’t had any fertile CM yet though, feel quite dry (sorry tmi). And I’m not temping this month as my shifts are just not allowing a regular sleep/wake pattern this month. Feeling quite disappointed.

I’m hoping that the opk was wrong and I ovulate on my normal days. Gutted x

I am in the same boat as you, positive OPK few days early and ovulation pains all day yesterday. I presume I will ovulate today if I haven't already and hubby not back till tonight. All I can suggest is to DTD as soon as possible and don't give up hope because you just never really know the best days.

God it’s so stressful isn’t it? I can’t believe I’m ovulating early. When ever I’m ovulating me and the other half are on opposite shifts!! It’s getting so hard to time DTD. Iv just got up and done another one and I’m pretty sure it’s positive. Still no CM though which is really confusing me. From all my other cycles today should be the start of the fertile window. But now it’s nearly over and I missed it. DTD on CD8 but that was too long ago! 😢
Why does our body do this for us. I have just looked on the calender and will be on nights again on the next ovulation week!! X

Oh no you've definitely got some bad luck this time, its so stressful I agree. Still try DTD though when you get the chance as you never know, if you don't have CM yet it might be a false surge and it could still happen again in a few days or even take 48 hours after today to happen. I've had plenty of false surges and actually ovulated later for no reason so 🤞 this is happening to you this time and you still in with a chance. Good luck x
