How to effing stop symptom spotting in TWW!!!!

On my 1st TWW ever, and promised myself I wouldn’t symptom spot. I even did a thread asking is it possible for symptoms now and was reassured it’s quite unlikely you’ll get them.

But here I am, f*cking symptom spotting and consuming my day!

So it started off as my nipples are quite sensitive, not too uncomfortable but definitely a bit sensitive and constantly hard it seems (sorry for being vulgar LOL) and then this led me to think is this a symptom?

And to counteract that, I’ve been having regular bowel movements (again sorry for being a bit disgusting) which has made me think I’ve got no chance of a BFP next week as a symptom of pregnancy is constipation

It’s kind of wearing me down, I’m lucky that when I’m working I’m busy, but when work is over I’m analysing everything and counting down the days until I can test next week (which I’ve convinced myself now it’ll be negative)

Did anyone else feel a bit negative during their TWW? And were pleasantly surprised with a BFP?

@ChickenDipper99 hi lovely!

No words of wisdom here, but TTC for 10 months now and I have had SO many different “signs and symptoms” that I now don’t even notice or look for them. The annoying thing is many PMS symptoms mirror pregnancy symptoms.

Some women just “know”, others don’t get any!! It’s so so hard to tell 😅 but we alllll go crazy during the TWW. X

@Izzie94 yeah I think I need to just try and stop thinking about it (if I even can!) and stop deeming myself not pregnant or pregnant.

I was going to early test this weekend but have ruled it out due to potential false negative (if I am hopefully pregnant) so since then I’ve felt like the wait is soooo much longer as I’ll be testing actually 14dpo instead of 11/12dpo

The difference 3 days makes, feels like years right now!

Just try your best to stop and do something else. The more you think about it, the more you risk disappointment if you're not. I would advise waiting for as long as possible before doing any tests as well! Either way it will be just as exciting when you do get that positive!
