Could it just be that I'm out this month..?!

Hi,

We have been TTC for 4 months now. My cycles are fairly regular, I seem to ovulate around CD17-18, so slightly later than average I suppose.

I have been testing with OPK's since CD12 this cycle to make sure that I catch the peak, and so far I've had absolutely no indication of ovulation at ALL. I'm currently CD19 🤷‍♀️☹️

Could it be that I'm just not going to ovulate this month?! I have no idea. Feel really confused.

Any help would be fab! X

Hey!

One month I ovulated CD14 & then last month I ovulated CD21 - this month I'm currently CD14 and yet to see a positive opk!

Last month I really stressed myself out come CD16, decided to give up and come CD19 they got darker again so you may just be ovulating later this month xx

@Rachel93x thank you, that's given me some hope! ☺️ fingers crossed that it'll happen for me, too!

I had almost decided to give up actually as I've seen no progression at all! ☹️

Xx

Aw don't give up, it may just be because we stress about it, it's our bodies delaying it!

My Dr told me 'if you're stressing, your body won't ovulate as being stressed isn't a good body to house a baby in' and that stuck with me! As soon as I half forget about it, i did fall pregnant! Last month actually but ended in CP, so I'm taking the same approach this month!

My cycle is also irregular, I mean not drastic but it does change from 28 days to 35 days between months! So as long as I ovulate by CD21 I know my bodies okay as that's the average day for a women with a 35 day cycle :)

Best of luck and hopefully you'll get the positive OPK shortly! Xx

@Rachel93x fab advice thanks so much!

I also fell pregnant last month, but unfortunately that too ended in a chemical ☹️💓

@ovu1 I'm so sorry to hear! It's certainly put me off early testing as I feel I'd of been none the wiser had I waited, AF wouldn't of been late and I'd of not had the heartache 🥺🙈

But onto this month and hopefully we have our BFP's soon!! 🤞🏻xx

@galatea098 it's so strange isn't it! It's horrible waiting for a positive and not knowing if / when you'll get it ☹️🤦‍♀️

Fingers crossed we will do soon! X

I could never seem to get a positive OPK so just binned them off in the end and went by physical signs of ovulation e.g cervix position and CM. I obviously do ovulate as I’ve been pregnant twice! But could never catch a positive. Lots of people don’t ovulate at the exact same time each month, so you could just be missing it. Just keep having sex throughout your cycle instead of obsessing over those sticks (I hate them, they gave me nothing but anxiety and frustration 😆).
