My partner and I are using pulling out method which we know comes with chance of pregnancy. Recently I've took norethisterone afew times and previously when I've stopped it my periods arrived a day or two later. This has been two weeks and still no sign of them. I got brown blood when I wiped two weeks ago and assumed that was them but then nothing! I took a cheap test and there was a faint line I think. I then went and got a clear blue which said not pregnant. This morning I done another and im not sure if it's a faint line or just the paper underneath showing through?

The one saying hgc was yesterday and the other one is this mornings . I know time will tell but the waiting is awful !

Thanks in advance if anyone replies!

It looks like a very faint positive to me. I'd repeat the test tomorrow with first morning urine and a more sensitive test.

Skyla2005 · 15/10/2020 13:22

It’s positive

LCScotmum · 15/10/2020 13:24

I felt they looked faintly positive but then the expensive clear blue digital said not pregnant? That's whats confusing me? I thought that was the most reliable test and its saying negative Confused

Digital CB is not really sensitive enough to pick it up

lilacflower12 · 15/10/2020 13:33

That looks positive ( definitely the second test but the line on the first is a bit weird so I would class that one as faulty!) but go get a first response early response as they are the most sensitive. The digitals don't pick up the levels as early as other tests, If you get another positive line I would wait a few more days and then try a digital again.

LCScotmum · 15/10/2020 13:36

Ok I never knew, I thought the digital ones could tell very early! I had done another one in-between these and it was negative so I'm totally undecided what I think it is. Ill get a first response then and see what it says !

They look positive to me.
Are you aware norethisterone is not a contraceptive? Just in case you thought it would protect you.
Hope you get the result you want.

LCScotmum · 15/10/2020 14:01

Yeah I knew norethisterone wasn't a contraceptive. I just thought maybe it had messed with my body and thats why my periods are late, ill find out soon I suppose!
