Too much info sorry!

Will I still get pregnant if when I stand up after sex it all leaks out? Does it lower my chances? Please help! Thanks my advance! X

You could definitely still get pregnant, but if you are actively trying, staying lying down with your bottom tilted and your legs up will help.

DoveGreylove · 11/10/2020 20:48

No it does not lower your chances... That's what ejaculation is for. To shoot the sperm inside to fertilise the egg.

Condom slipped off, I got my butt up and walked a mile to a pharmacy to emergency contraception... i just put resulting baby to bed, you definitely don't need to do a headstand to get pregnant

When was you last period/when is the next due and how long ago was sex?

ReeseWitherfork · 11/10/2020 21:21

....doesn’t it always come back out?

HotToCold · 11/10/2020 21:24

Stay laying, put legs in air, on wall Grin

@olderthanyouthink omg! Haha that's insane. So sex was about an hour ago! My last period ended on the 2nd October, periods are irregular now since I took northisterone in January (to delay my periods as I was going on holiday) but I do get them every month, they just vary from 24-35 days. The last two months however they've been 24 day cycles each time so today and yesterday is showing as my most fertile days! Hoping those days are correct but I heard semen stays in there for upto 5 days anyway. Sorry for too much info! But when loads comes out I worry like how the hell can i get pregnant when that much comes out?😂

Idk, how much came out of the condom but it can't have been much and yet it still worked

I think you'd be in the window but trying again in a few days would probably cover the bases of a later ovulation.

It only takes one, OP Grin

Oh goodness, I thought this was normal? Each time I DTD everything comes pouring out as soon as I stand up, or he pulls out . I fell pregnant in June with everything falling out so I’m pretty sure it doesn’t make a difference?

OliviaGrace1x · 11/10/2020 21:53

@Boredinthehouse12 hopefully not! Haha. I'm honestly losing hope as my periods are irregular too and my partners in the army so I only see him at weekends lucky my highest days landed on the weekend this time so we did the deed 😂 lol. I just don't think I have the patience to be charting and monitoring my temperature etc! I think it will just make me more obsessed and more gutted every month!

@olderthanyouthink do you mean slipped off as in came off inside you or?😂haha. And well he's in the army so it's so hard at the moment TTC as my periods are irregular and also only seeing him at weekends! I just don't think I could chart or monitor my temperature as id become too obsessed and even more gutted every month 😩 i think I must have covered my most fertile days! Did the deed last Sunday two days after my period and again this weekend so honestly fingers crossed! Lol

When you say monitor your temperature etc is it a noticeable temp change or just noticeable on a thermometer?

OP posts:
olderthanyouthink · 11/10/2020 22:01

Yep, inside me. Aww damn well jump him as soon as he's home next and fingers crossed in a few weeks you'll have a couple lines on a test!

The temperature thing needs a thermometer because the change is pretty small, like half a degree.

DoveGreylove · 11/10/2020 22:03

OP use ovulation sticks to check your fertile days, don't assume your days are as per Google. (Something I learned about my own cycle). If you want to record your basal temp then you need to record it every morning for a few months to see the pattern in a drop of temp. The following day you will have ovulated. Once you see the pattern you can estimate which day of your cycle you tend to ovulate.

following SMEP is also very good.

Good luck!
