Is it normal to have a LH surge 7 days before AF?

Hi MNetters! I had opk positive a week ago & dtd a few times. I took another OPK a day after which was negative. I was bored on my TTW so to let out some frustration I POAS and it's shown another positive. How could it possibly show me another positive when AF is due in 7 days?
Is there such thing as a rise in LH before AF?

Was it a peak? That could be your actual ovulation and you'd have a delayed AF this cycle.

Oor it could be a sign you're pregnant or it could just be a pre AF increase in LH lol. Just cause our bodies are fuck boys.

It was at a peak so it took me back a little. I wasn't expecting it.

If it's my actual ovulation I will DTD tonight for sure just to be covered!
