Why are pregnancy tests so frustrating!! BFP?

Today I am 4 days late for AF (had some spotting for a few days a week ago)

I took two tests today....

Sainsburys own brand, the blue one, these were results within 10 minutes and my first wee of the day & Superdrug own which was my second wee, admittedly didn't look for 25 minutes as I did it at work and panicked when someone came in to the toilet!

What do you honestly think? I'm so sceptical after seeing so many false positive stories online, evap lines etc.

Sainsburys are notorious on here for evaps and if the second was out of the 3/5min window it's not valid.

A lot of blue dye tests have evaps. Get yourself a pink dye first response test and that will give you a clear BFP/BFN. Good luck xx

Both look like weak positives to me - tentative congratulations OP...

Can definitely see something in the second pic but I would try again and look within the time frame

I absolutely feel your pain. I got 2 positives on Sainsbury's tests, then 2 on frers in separate months. Either I misread an evap line as a positive or it was 2 cps. I am waiting to have a fibroid that's impinging on my uterus removed as they can cause implantation issues so maybe I am getting pregnant every other month then CP, who knows. I've now totally no idea how to tell if a test is positive though now unless it's one of those thick 6 weeks pregnant lines.

Good luck with yours. 4 days late if you have regular cycles sounds promising. Mine are always a day or so before or maybe one day late, but never 4.

@CycleGirl20 it's so difficult. Before the world of "TTC", I had no idea it wasn't as plain sailing as sex - missed period - clear positive test. There are so many forums online about faulty tests, CP's, evap lines, our bodies, complications, the lot, you don't know how to think or feel. I feel like i'm on a rollercoaster of emotions, getting excited then it can be taken away in a second.

I really hope it happens for you soon and good luck with your operation, I hope it's a speedy recovery and you get everything you deserve! x

@Waiting4another I really hope so, but so much is online that makes you think otherwise. Going to retest in 2 days and hope for the best!
