Happy Sunday everyone.

My DP & I started TTC in March, had a positive test the first month but AF arrived a week after testing. We were so happy that everything seemed to be in working order, even if it didn’t stick, but in the months proceeding we’ve had no luck.

AF is now two days late ( although it’s probably too soon to test as my cycle varies between 28-31 days). From the picture, is it too soon to be hopeful? Should I wait a few more days before saying anything to DP? Is there a better quality test I can take?

Is it too soon to get hopeful?

There is definitely a line. How quickly did it come up? Blue dye tests aren’t the best but it does look positive. Can you get hold of First response early detection? Should come up easily if this is positive. You could try Clear blue digital but don’t be sad if it’s negative as clear blue digital threshold is higher than First response. Fingers crossed.

That looks positive to me! Congratulations!
You might want to try a few more brands and watch the line darken over the next few days for reassurance (that's exactly the stage I'm at currently!)
First Response Early Result (FRER) are good! But they are expensive, you might not even need something as sensitive as that as there's already a definite line. Good luck Smile

Thanks so much for the info. I’m in a country where shops are shut on Sunday’s but hopefully there might be a different test available if I can find an open pharmacy. I’ll look for the FIrst response. The line started to emerge at about two minutes.

The pharmacy should have FRER, if not, bite the bullet and get clear blue digital. Fingers crossed for you.

I think this is positive OP :-). Quiet congratulations and FX.

Thanks so much @Meomeomeo for suggesting the digital test. I only had a choice between the pharmacy’s own brand or Clearblue, and had to ask over the counter for the digital... so glad you told me to invest...!! Smile
