If you conceive what signs are there from discharge/ewcm?

This month I detected ovulation by monitoring discharge. Normally after ovulation you expect there to be a rapid reduction in any kind of discharge. But what if you conceive? Is continued high levels of discharge a sign of conception in the 2ww and is drying up a sign you aren’t pregnant? Does anyone know?

I don’t think it’s a reliable method of detecting pregnancy to be honest. I had a lot of ewcm leading up to my period last month which I was convinced meant I was pregnant as I hadn’t noticed it in other cycles. I wasn’t pregnant.

I’ve had ewcm since ovulation this month and I am pregnant this cycle, so I really don’t think it means much.

I think we notice so much more about our bodies and cycles when we are ttc that we suddenly notice things that may have always been there and automatically try and rationalise how it could be early pregnancy symptoms

When TTC I found tracking changes in cervical mucus helpful in indicating my fertile window but less in indications that I had conceived. If anything I remember it being quite plentiful and clear but not all slippery and stretchy, more like gum? What was a very reliable indicator for me was cervical softness. When it was soft in the days leading up to my period being due that was pretty much a definite for me that a test was worth doing!

Cycle I got my BFP I had a lot of thick CM around when AF was due. I also never managed to detect any EWCM, even in my fertile week.

Not surd if this is the right thread but I have a CM question...is the EWCM usually only on ovulation day or for the furtive window? First cycle off the pill here so I don’t know what my cycles will be like. According to flo (I know this won’t be 100%) I’m now in my fertile window and due to ovulate on Thursday. This morning I’ve noticed I have possible EWCM so just wondering what this signals. X

@Purpleflowers21I find that I have 4 days of ewcm and the last day of ewcm is my ovulation day. Then dries up rapidly, although I do tend to have cm all month, just a different consistency.

I found that my white discharge had increased, but only slightly. I also had some spotting/cramping 3-4 days before my period was due. I hope this helps and good luck!
