Positive results on or after 16DPO?

Hi everyone, I'm new to Mumsnet, I've been in my own head dealing with the anxieties of TTC and thought I would come here for some advice as only so much pregnancy talk my husband can put up with.

I'm 16DPO - started bleeding @ 13/40 DPO a mixture of very light and a morning of reasonably heavy (but not soaked and no clots)

I decided to take a First Response test this AM (today would usually be my first day of my period) I took both tests and both have come up with the faintest lines, I'm talking really faint. They have colour and came up within 5-10 minutes but surely where I am DPO it should be darker?

This week I've been feeling so sick, going to the toilet so much more and lower back pain.

Has anybody had any successes from faint tests @ 16 DPO or is this likely a loss from experience?

Thank you x

Sounds like a chemical. Sorry

I think it's a good sign to get a positive after bleeding, try again in a few days for the hcg hormone to get stronger.
I had a very faint positive before af then they became negative and got cramps a few days before it started.
Only time will time, I know it's frustrating when you just want to know for sure x

Its hard to tell if only tested once. Only way is yo wait and see if it gets darker, but unless you ovulated later frer should be pretty clear by now

@popcorndiva to be honest I'm not 100% sure on ovulation date, I'm going by one app which is called Glow instead of charting (I know this isn't great, if this doesn't turn in to a BFP then I will start charting correctly)

It's all so confusing! X

@ellenpartridge these are my thoughts too, just strange how I have such bad nausea and still a faint line 24 hours after my bleeding has stopped. My head is spinning! Hopefully the next couple of days will tell x
