...and which baby number are trying to conceive?

I am 33 and hoping to conceive baby number 4 soon. Of course I realise I am far from old but can't help thinking I'm at a disadvantage this time. With my others I was 22, 24 and 28!

I wouldn’t class 29 as a later age!

First 2 were conceived straight away ( previous relationship)

37 TTC #3

First I was 28, second 35. Had a MMC over the summer.

If it is any consolation to older mums out there, struggled 2 years TTC the first. Got pregnant second month of trying with the second and first month of trying with the baby I miscarried.

27 and trying for #1 :)

ILookAtTheFloor · 02/10/2020 12:30

I'm 33 ttc number 3. Had my two at 23 and 28 so I'm worried it'll be harder this time. That, and my husband is 43 so I'm expecting it to take longer. On cycle 2.

RobinRose · 02/10/2020 13:41

@xoJellyBean snap!

27 ttc No.1

RBCoxie · 02/10/2020 13:58

28 and trying for baby number 1! x

Lille4 · 02/10/2020 15:42

33 ttc baby no2. Was 30 when I had my first :)

AgrippinaT · 02/10/2020 18:37

Similar age range then, within about 10 years roughly. I do wonder about the decline in fertility rates with age and it's something I am acutely aware of. I guess it's supposed to be 'easier' when in your twenties, but then with age, multiples becomes more likely to balance it out Confused

xoJellyBean · 02/10/2020 18:40

@RobinRose hey🤩 what's your situation? I'm off the pill since October 2018!

Moominmiss · 02/10/2020 18:48

38 ttc number 4.

Had my previous 3 at 27, 29 and 32.

Had a mc at 9 weeks in January this year, followed by chemicals in March and June.

All fertility tests and scans on both me and oh are good.

Currently cycle 12 and just started using OvuSense.

🤞🏻

jessicalouise10 · 02/10/2020 18:59

29 and baby number one 🤞🏼

Shell4860 · 02/10/2020 19:40

32 TTC #1 11 cycles in now and wondering when it will happen!

RobinRose · 02/10/2020 20:19

@xoJellyBean have you been trying since coming off the pill? dp had a v reversal last September so been ttc since then!

xoJellyBean · 02/10/2020 20:24

@RobinRose we just assumed we would get pregnant once I came off the pill. So properly started trying around this time last year, then gave up🙈 back to it now! Do you test/temp for ovulation?

RobinRose · 02/10/2020 20:41

@xoJellyBean it is funny isnt it, spend your whole life being told how easy it is to get pregnant but when it comes to it, it's quite the opposite! I have used opks so I have a good idea when I'm ovulating, don't use them now as it adds extra stress I find. Didn't get on with temping! How about you?

MrsB2019x · 03/10/2020 00:07

29 and TTC #1 since last October. Fell pregnant in April but it was ectopic so we had to wait 3 months before trying again

Belle1983 · 03/10/2020 01:21

I turned 37 the day I got my BFP with #1.

Bertyb7 · 03/10/2020 08:27

Congratulations @Belle1983! I am almost 31 and TTC #1 for 5 months.

Bertyb7 · 03/10/2020 08:28

@Belle1983 I'm so sorry, I read that as you had just got a BFP at 37.. so silly of me

LayingLow · 03/10/2020 08:54

I am 25 and pregnant with baby #4 i had my others when I was 20..23..24

passthemustard · 03/10/2020 09:17

I'm 42 and pregnant with baby #5. Conceived first month of trying.

Izzie94 · 03/10/2020 09:37

26, TTC #1 - onto month 10 😦

DoctorBambino · 03/10/2020 09:42

32 took 5 cycles to conceive then had a ruptured ectopic and lost a tube. Just about to start all over again 😔
