Hi! I’m new to this but I’m looking for a little bit of advice...

I’ve been on the implant just over but had it taken on on last Thursday the 24th because my periods have been so messed up. I can be on for a full month then be off 3 days then on again for another 2 weeks then off 2 days then back on.. etc. Anyway, had implant out, started the pill the same day, I had been off a couple of days before having implant out so me and my boyfriend had sex, over the two days something like, Monday & Tuesday then had implant out Thursday & started pill... one thing lead to another Saturday & Sunday night had sex again. Because of my messed up periods and not sure when my next one is due or when I ovulate but could I still get pregnant or be pregnant?

Please don’t be horrible, I’m new to the pill. I’m currently in bed, feeling sick & headache but I’m taking that to be the pill & my body getting used to it.

Thanks.
B.

Yes is the answer. It’s still possible. Likely is another question entirely.

Just to check @unsureB:

Monday 21 and Tuesday 22nd - had sex
Thursday the 24th - implant taken out, started the contraceptive pill (which one?)
Sat 26th and sunday 27th - had sex

Is that right?

The implant technically only protects when you have it in (ending Thursday 24th) and the pill only from 7 days of taking it onwards (so from thursday 1st oct). So theoretically it is POSSIBLE if you ovulated at exactly the right moment around this weekend.

It is however UNLIKELY. To be sure you are not pregnant take a test in a couple of weeks, around 10/11 Oct. I'd check even if you have a period as pill periods are not real (chemically induced)

Thank you for replying. I'll take a test in a couple of weeks to be sure, thanks again.
